Going by the numbers, it easy to say, "hey, MC killed a lot with their doomsday."
But if you think about it, they chose to use it not against someone that could match them, but instead the easiest possible target for maximum killmails. It was flashy, yes, but DDing BRUCE in syndicate? I mean, come on, what a cheap cop out. But then again, MC is all about maintaining its reputation. E-vanity, haha.

Or perhaps they could use it against their current contract target? Oh yeah they did.

I assume MC DD'd the people they were/are fighting against at the time. if you had a high number of hostiles bubbled and primed for a DD and you just happen to have a titan... If you don't use the titan, why exactly do you have it?
of course I'm responding to a bitter alt I'm sure.. But then again I had nothing to do with what happened so I do believe this constitutes proper COAD behavior.

DDing those who are unable to retaliate has just as much strategic value, if not more, than DDing those who can retaliate.
If you cant figure out why, you're stupid. ---------

I'm sure BRUCE will be happy to confirm that they had two fleets - one in PC9 and another in JH-. Combined there were nearly 340 enemies. We jumped Corbec into the enemy fleet in PC9 as they came in to clear the gate for the arrival of the second fleet.
I do not have exact numbers but here is what I do know - the fleet we killed in PC9 lost 72 battleships to the DD. The fleet in JH- decided not to come in and turned around. Our support chased after them and scored several more kills but did not catch the main force. Scouts said there were 'at least sixty more BS in the second fleet'. I just wanna be clear - according to the OP, jumping a Titan into 300+ potential hostiles with over a hundred BS and twice that in support is 'easy'? Hell, lag alone almost made us pull the plug but we held our breath did it anyway.
Now people can knock BRUCE all they want, but they managed to put together over 300 people last night, over a third of them in battleships to shut us down. Call it a blob or whatever; I call it determination and trying to make a point. We just had a surprise they weren't expecting last night, which is the entire point of warfare. Had they chosen to, they could have pushed the issue with their second fleet but by then we had jumped a sizable capital force into PC9 and for all BRUCE knew there was a second or third titan on standby as well. All things considered, they made a choice and called it a night.
Cute alt, BTW. -
