I havent turned on my TV in months now, everything that a TV could provide i get in the internet, news, music, movies, episodes, and the kicker is that I can choose when i actually watch it all

What's the point?
150ú a year to watch BBC??? U can get the newsbrief from the web for free
I only watch what i can download (Simpsons,Seinfield,Sex & The city, movies,documentaries,etc)

my tv watching has dropped almost to zero because of eve (and i guess that is a good thing?). last week i rented a video from blockbuster, it sat in it's case for almost a week, then i just returned it unwatched.
the question: what would i rather do in a 2 1/2 hour space of time; watch a movie or log onto eve? the answer became quite clear;)

Ironically, I work in live news so I'm glued to various screens all day. When I get home the last thing I want to do is veg out in front of another screen, going online (not specifically to play Eve) is the best way to relax plus I love tinkering around with our home networked PC's (funny, I could strip and build PC's all day, but If our TV broke down I'd have to get a repair guy in).
I've a Sky+ system so I can catch up on anything interesting when it suits me (usually anything sci-fi) //

Other then Stargate SG-1, or some other movie that comes on tv, my television never comes on.
I much more enjoy playing then watching. So I would have to agree.

Eve has made me into a marketing machine. If you have experience in anything you become better at it. Eve is a school of economics.
TV is soo lame filled with dead space. I only watch Fox news anyway while playing EVE.
