eh? fighters are painted in 2 shades of grey not cyan/teal/babyblue. grey is harder to discern on a fast moving object in the sky.
Something wrong with your eyes? Lots of baby blue there, regardless of the color of paint that was used to paint on the camo.
The color of Eve's Trinity ships varies greatly depending on the ambient light, inside stations or in open space.

If this was directed at me, than I was merely pointing out that vigorously and offensively complaining about the color that's currently being used on some lethal instruments of war (among many things) and isn't even constant in the game (since Eve takes place throughout solar systems with suns of a great variety of spectral type) is ghey.

It's quite clear that the "majority of players" you refer to are a small but vocal minority consisting of you and a bunch of alts. Care to prove me wrong?
While some of those complaining about the color bring up legitimate though subjective issues of taste, most seem to be insecure in that this new color will somehow dredge up some latent urges in their psyche that they've been repressing. Whatever it is you do with it - repress or embrace, it's a bad idea to bring it out on a public forum.
