Originally by: Malus Frost first of all, im nothing todo with SMATAKILL, they just provide some lucrative business oppurtinities for me by way of their actions - as it is, some DMC pilots are good customers of mine as well. secondly, it doesnt matter that DMC where blue with FREGE and SMASHKILL, they where effectively neutral in hostilities. but they still used their standings in an underhanded way to aid one side over another. they couldnt have supported FREGE that much or they would have joined the rest of the MADPACT in aiding them.
If you're talking about the RK invasion of Freege territory, I can't say cause I haven't been in the drone regions for months aside from 2 short trips in a Claw about a month and a half ago.

But as for the whole BoB business, I know for a fact that at least up until late August (and I doubt there's been a change since) both BoB and any and all BoB-friendly alliances, were most definitely red to DMC.
well, i have it on good authority that there is past history with BoB. i'm not the only one who has reason to believe this. so we will just have to agree to disagree on this i guess, unless (if ever) the truth 'comes out'
I think you're just getting their name mixed up with that of some other alliance. But if there is, then it would be from before this whole war started. Cause I was in DMC for a good portion of the first half of this year, and I can gurantee you that DMC was firmly within the northern Coalition in their alignment while I was a member. And I personally participated in Razor/Morsus/Pure etc. ... fleets in the north during that time.

stuff..
what possible reason do SMASHKILL want with the drone regions? SMASHKILL,ATLAS,CHAOS and PURE are all largish pvp alliances. they go where there's tobe pew pew. if u think SMASHKILL really wanted pets in the drone regions, dont you think they would have been better off installing a primarilly industrial alliance there? you even say so yourself that pvp alliances wouldnt last long there because it doesnt suit them. dont forget either, it was PURE who kicked ATLAS/CHAOS out of 87-. doesnt sound like pet making behaviour does it?
problem with this thread... to many alts (mainly DMC i think) trying to stir up trouble and draw other alliances into their problems with PURE.

how come everyone is ignoring the fact that DMC has 2 outposts, which they have no idea on how to defend..
so the first thing they do, is hire/pay RA to defend themselves? instead of trying to defend themselves? or asking any of their friends?
tbh, this thread only shows...
1) DMC are not strong enough to be an alliance 2) DMC is an alt RA alliance, which sells them supercapitals .. kinda like TRUST with the Iron/g/pa 3) or DMC just does not want to defend, and rather have someone else do it for them --------

The storyline sucks, but there's lots of bending over, gang bangs, and three-ways.
With all due respect to my drone regions friends, this description, oddly enough, seems apt.

I have no authority of any variety in any way, shape or form to be talking on behalf of Atlas, BUT here is how I understand the PURE = blue thing:
Atlas formed and made friends with the nice folks in Chaos. We decided to both move out to 0.0 together and Chaos had a station egg they were dying to plant, and both Smashkill and the then MAD Pact said "go for it doods". Unfortunately PURE didn't, and promptly invaded to nab the station. A long and pretty fun war later, PURE offered a peace treaty- they get the station, Chaos and Atlas both got docking rights and some new space, and Chaos got half the stations cost in isk, or something along those lines. We got friendly with neighbours Smashkill, and fell out with MAD Pact. Smashkill invaded MAD member IO, and we joined in because it seemed like fun. We're now very friendly with SK, and have got ourselves Outposts of our own. Because we still have docking rights in PURE stations thanks to the peace treaty, we've given them docking rights back.
Whether PURE use those docking rights for nefarious deeds is no more our business than us using their stations for nefarious deeds is theirs. ------

Looks like there's a very expensive something in the cooker at BQO.
Deductive logic would suggest it belongs to RA.

Any alliance that leaves another alliance blue while said alliance allows attacks to be staged from its space/stations deserves the grief. IMHO allowing attacks against my alliance from your space/stations is the same as attacking my alliance.

We (Atlas) have no control of goals, ambitions, gangs and missions led by other blue alliances, If everyone in eve gave and retracted docking access to outposts everytime some other alliance went to pew pew their own reds, no one would ever know where to dock lol thats just silly. You know you just described RA? 'Death Prime' is the base for xXDeathXx to attack entities blue to RA........
It's NOT the same as a direct attack, but it doesn't breed trust.

heheh...I remember the migrains associated with the negotiations well. In fact, when I explained the situation to my eldest daughter (Jessica, 5), she called Drantis a "meanyhead." I informed Drantis of this and I think that might have been the turning point at which PURE's stance softened a bit.
All's well that ends well, I guess.
