Heavy interdictors Heavy interdictors are cruiser equivalents of the destroyer based interdictors, which combine area of effect warp disruption with the tanking capabilities of Heavy Assault Ships. Rather than using warp disrupt probes, the heavy interdictors use a module, the Warp Disruption Field Generator, which prevents all ships within its range from warping or jumping (including the heavy interdictor itself). While having the warp disruption field generator on a heavily tanked ship makes it more resilient, it also comes with some drawbacks. When activated the warp disruption field generator prevents remote assistance, increases the signature radius of the ship and reduces the effectiveness of afterburners and microwarpdrives. The agility is however effectively increased: the mass of the ship and the thrust of afterburners and microwarpdrives is significantly decreased (the thrust reduction cancels out the mass reductions in terms of speed boost). This effective increase in agility means that heavy interdictors flying at high speeds will slow down very fast once the warp disruption field generator is actived.
Quote: with the upcoming scripting changes i think its reasonable to put that scripting system in warp core stabilizers too
With that new t2 ship there is no chance of escape while in its range, the range they where moot on, however I donĘt like anything that is not based on skill or a % chance, how that reads you can't warp period.
Honestly arms scripts I believe to be the stupidest thing ccp has done since it started eve. Basically thatĘs telling all of the older players that have maxed the related skills to level V o you know what screw you,
Reality is I donĘt care, I fly smaller sniper ships and the scan resolution on those ships will barely be touched its battleship snipers who will suffer the most, I donĘt agree with a 50% nerf of any ability with out a huge amount of consideration (which I donĘt feel was done here), and what that will do to players who have worked their entire battle plans around the current sensor damps and boosters mechanics, They will have to throw those out the window now and I cant even call that kind of fair,
A good thing for ccp to consider, time vs. reward if a player spends 20+ days training a skill or even 90 days learning a tree to fight in a certain tactic and you 50% that effectiveness in a foul swoop.
Do you think they are going to keep paying you subscription fees so you can shaft them again? Please stop and consider a few things and how drastic you make the changes in the future especially in a full pvp world,
I would love to be in 0.0 and lose my home to a change such as this and not by my enemy being better but by the fact you reduced my effectiveness by 50% to defend myself.
I would recommend, making new stuff and stop butchering old stuff, people dont build empires in an ever changing world, but people sure do lose them fast...
if you want to start over start on eve2.
