Disproportionately large chin and the nose piercing makes you look sorta like a bull, but otherwise I like your avatar, especially the jacket. I am sad that Amarr get some kinda crappy choices in clothes. Well...we all do, but that's for another thread.

I agree; unfortunately I didn't have too much time tonight to change it. I'll be tweaking everything when I finally get finished building my new PC.
As for yours, I really like the combination of the rakish angle and the radial background. It creates dynamism. Your expression of wonder is appropriate for a game set in space. 8.7/10, only marked a bit down because I've never been a fan of straight bangs. |

I love the jaunty pose and the camera's at a good angle! The composition as a whole is a bit off-center, perhaps some different lighting could add some visual weight to the top right?

I like that you didn't overuse make-up and the "HEY, my eyes are up here, pal" look is great! I usually find true Gallente women to be fairly same-y in look, but not caking on the war paint and the interesting facial expression helps you stand out. If I may make a suggestion, that particular hairstyle can be further manipulated by rotating the shoulders; you can make it curl around at some very interesting angles that way! It suits your head shape and bone structure well. I also find the composition balance is a little skewed towards the bottom left, because the eye is naturally drawn to the lightest areas, and the skin tone is the lightest area. Perhaps changing the lighting to be more directional in nature, originating from the top right, could help? Just very minor things. :3

I like the twisted half-smirk and your freckles are adorable! Pose is pretty unique, too. Only thing I don't like is it almost looks like the picture was taken right at the start/end of blinking and your upper eyelids are not fully open, but it's hardly a big deal. Lighting around the eyes is nicely played, with the sockets in shadow but irises partially illuminated; it's a nice effect. My biggest gripe would be the balance of the shot is a bit far left - nudging everything to the right and nicely splitting the gradient of that background could work, although, of course, only you would be able to find out for sure.
If you were going for a look of amused contempt, absolutely nailed it.

Lighting emphasizes the pale skin + dark skin combo well, which is always a look I've been fond of. If I may, the way the angle and pose plays out makes your head look unnaturally large, a fairly common problem with that particular hairstyle. It would definitely be possible to tweak the zoom and camera angle a bit to minimize the effect without compromising the overall "look" you have now, I think. Otherwise, the colors coordinate well and I like the light/dark balance for the most part, and that shiny hair...I wanna stroke it. :3

I actually kinda liked your old portrait a bit better, but, with that being said, your pose is well done to display aggression and action. You look like a man on a mission of violence. Not someone I'd want to meet in a dark alley. If that's what you were going for, nailed it. If I may make a suggestion, your shadows are playing diagonally. Diagonal lines convey a sense of motion, which aids your overall look. The background, however, doesn't really mesh. Horizontal lines and all. It's not the worst background I can think of, but maybe play with some more and see if you can't get one that can play with the diagonal dimension.

Since I expect vaguely creepy was the look your current portrait was aiming for...it's a smashing success. If I woke up to you standing over me, I'd be reaching for the gun under the pillow quickly. Or thinking, "What the **** did I drink last night?"
Shadows are a bit funky, but as someone who often struggles with them, I blame CCP for not enough lighting options. Sometimes there's just no choice but to hope no one else notices as much as you. Neck shadows in particular are a personal bugbear. You also managed to make the funky shadows work for you in a couple of places with the augmentations, adding to a bizarre transhuman look. Again, I get the feeling that was the intent. If there's one complaint I have that would be in your control, I tend to think that less is more when it comes to primary colors. In this case, 3 almost feels like too many. Blue eyes, red makeup, green clothing. It strikes me as busy.
Test server one is particularly interesting in that it reminds me of a friend of mine, albeit a much 'darker' version. I can't say I'm sold on the background, drawing the focus towards the center sometimes doesn't always work when your pose and positioning is off-center. In this case it's like drawing focus towards her right shoulder...and CCP's godawdul low-res tattoo textures at the arm -> shoulder transition point. However, there is one very interesting good thing I noticed. Tattoo on the left shoulder actually looks like it has relief, like one of those "3D" tattoos, with how the pose and lighting work with the rest of the exposed skin and the capsule plugs. Almost like looking different in context.
I always do enjoy your portraits.
