In your case they do, your character looks tad on the angry and annoyed side. The piercings help with the look and the hair suits it well. With the lighting darkening the area around your eyes it also gives an evil look on the whole. 9/10 |

Thanks, I agree about the hair. It does look very plasticy, although there aren't many I like :(
I was going for arrogant though :D
You avatar looks rather well, the only real let down is the lighting ( not your fault ) it would be nice if it also highlighted you back as well. The background also suits you well 8.5/10 |

You character seems rather odd to me, I can't really put my finger on it. it might be the cheeks, they look a bit like you're puffing them up while holding your breath. I like the eyes and expression though.

I like it Ivy, I miss the hair being tied back, but it's still a good look.
You look rather aggressive and set on a target, while still looking somewhat dismissive of it.
The hair, face and clothing fit the background as well.

Kheily I really like it.
You look like about to eviscerate someone, or destroy a helpless fleet of miners. The lighting and facial expression make it, along with the makeup around the eyes. 9/10 |

I have to say I still really like Akirei's avatar. Zimmy is right, those goggles are awesome and suit that character 100%
easily 10/10
9/10 for Zimmy, I like the avatar, but I still get a feeling like it's similar to Golum. Other than that awesome.
Mine on the other hand easily falls into the black/grey/blue ones haha. |

Oh wow...you listened to my advice and changed the background.
Awesomesauce.
But I fear we are not quite there, yet.
You chose the "Red nebula that incidentally looks like the fires of hell" background. Solid choice.
Now he looks like a man who enjoys the smell of napalm in the morning as it burns freedom deep into the flesh of all those who don't surf. (I like this sentence, you might want to read it twice).
The problem I currently see is with that cloudy thing in the background that is pointing towards your nose.
It looks like a big lava bogey coming out of your nostrils..
Two possible solutions:
1. Zoom your avatar one or two clicks closer. Also change the lightning effects...the fire is behind you, so the light should come from behind you as well.
2. Turn his head to the right, open his mouth. Now it will look as if he is spitting fire ,like [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqp_aPbgu4g wrote:TROGDOR[/url], burninating the countryside!
I did read that sentence twice haha.
Well it wouldn't look like a firey bogey if I could get a cigar, I could move it then so it looks like I'm smoking pure awesome. 
Also I'd give you extra likes for knowing Trogdor! Once I'm in eve I shall attempt your advice. |
