As for the rating.
Not much emotion is shown there, but composition seems to be alright. The green goes well with red, though personally I hate that kind of "green."

I dunno what is it exactly, but the recent version of your avatar seems to be much more attractive, even with severely damaged left side of the face. The only thing that I dislike is the shape of ear lobes. And even then it's a personal preference.
Also one might wonder if that's really a capsuleer or an android from many ship's crews, which do have emotions and feelings pretty much identical to real human beings. Yay for today's high tech which solves all the problems for lonely capsuleer captains in their quarters!
Thus I wouldn't worry about others making "aww, too manly" comments. It's just the makeup that makes the most difference in the appearance... well, besides whatever is below the neck line, right? 
Overall your avatar has much more personality than all the barbies in this threadnaught.

You've got this "Here I am a giant - surrounded by ants" theme going.
The only thing I can nitpick about - it is somewhat dark. It is much easier to get the idea when your avatar is viewed at the highest resolution.
Maybe you could play around with different backgrounds or lighting?
Either way, posture/full body shot avatars are the hardest to pull off.
