Now that CCP have removed the server dropdown options, how do I make my test client point to the test server???

D:\eve_test\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50 thats mine... and it seems to connect fine.

Don't worry. You are not the only one that is getting incompatible build notification with 44970.

Any ideas?

The server has obviously been upgrades since then, and we are all waiting for the new patch to be released. If you read the newest posts, you would have this knowledge. Secondly, you did not pay fifteen dollars to play on the test server. You paid to play on Tranquility. So go play.

If you want to judge that game against your 15 bucks then you shouldnt really be attempting to join the test server But yea, I get the same error about incompatible build, got the right server and everything though. ah well, its out tommorow will wait
