Empiresmod is a hl2 (source engine) based rts/fps hybrid pitting two factions against etchother over fields and in urban enviorments, it fetures base building, resource management, researching and tanks (customizeble to your hearts content) It's just been relesed in it's 2.0 form after about a year of hard playtesting, efficently delivering a free, well working and above all fun game for annyone who own half life 2 (should be the majority of you, it's cultural history) Theres usualy betwen 600 to 850 people playing, i'd strongly recomend checking it out by ither just going ahead and downloading it, taking a look at the press site or just joining the IRC (#empiresmod at irc.gamesurge.net) Also, i just realized that this post just made myself look like a attention-craving salseman, sorry ^^

I generally play on the official #1 and #2.
