Show 22! This was a little show we made to help get you through the downtime for the Trinity expansion. Those of you who use itunes or the RSS feed will have already got this one, but just in case anyone missed it we are putting this up here.
Urban has been working such long hours that the only booze he has is some Brennivin he got in Iceland. Blinky joins him for a glass of pure horribleness, and a wager is made as to the length of downtime.
Urban interviews Tony Gonzales the author of the upcoming EVE Novel. He does sound a lot like Tony Soprano though.
Next up its Richie Shoemaker AKA Zapatero the Editor of EON. We discuss Issue 9 and what's coming up in issue 10 before running off to a fanfest.
Finally we get to talk to the Transgaming guys Who ported EVE from Windows to the Mac and Linux. More power to them!.
Lead out tune 'Paperback Writer' by Mystery Bloom.
Beyond that, just the usual random sidetrackage, gibbering and tinfoil hattery.

I wonder if the the EVE novel ties in with factional warfare? Call me deluded or call me very deluded, but if - as stated in the interview - his book includes major events in the background that relate to stuff in the concurrent content release, then perhaps the event is war between the factions and the content release will include factional warfare? I'm hopeful.

You're deluded. Factional warfare was supposed to be released last year. The novel was only recently completed. I doubt the two are connected. I hope you're right, though. I really want factional warfare.

Damn I've had to wade through 3 pages of crap to get to this shining gem. Wish people would stop *****ing and just sit back and enjoy the new shineys. Or ofc this most fantastic of podcasts.
Looking forward to the next "proper" podcast too (whenever Mongral's idiot employers let him out long enough to do one)

Dear God,
Why can't people be happy with all; the new shineys that CCP have given us. Why are they all surprised that the game is broken in some ways (as it always is after a major patch), and as such they're going to cancel their eleventy billion accounts unless CCP FIX THIS NOW!!!!!11!!1!!1ONE.
They should take the advice of one of my FCs just before a node crash. "I know it's lagging and you can't reload your guns. Just relax sit back, wait for it to happen, and when the servers come back up we'll continue with what we're doing."
These big content patches should be taken the same way. Yes it's broken, CCP are aware of this and are working to fix it. Give it a week, and everything will be fine. And you have new shineys to ogle 
Guess I'm just upset that the rabid whining and calling for Dev's heads is forcing this pure jewel down into the mire of P2 on the forums
