The boot.ini tab will not be there if c:\boot.ini is not present.
Okay then do this.
Boot from your OS cd. and follow the directions to start Recovery Console. Choose the corresponding number asked of you for your OS is on, normally its #1 Then type:
Attrib -H -R -S C:\Boot.ini DEL C:\Boot.ini BootCfg /Rebuild Fixboot

There is no boot.ini in Vista. It uses a boot manager.

The US timezone are merely the beta testers for the patch for the EU timezones.
You should be thanking CCP for this experience.

God forbid tech-challenged people play this game. God-forbid you lose your OS to a patch. Funny it's waaaa
I smack everyone equally. Soz.
There's a metric shedload of articles on the internet on how-to fix these issues. Google is your friend.
CCP hire me as your technical business analyst and let me deal with these people aight. ;)

Originally by: Orangir This is seriously one of the dumbest things I've seen a developer do. Sucks that one of your best patches yet has to be tainted by such a colossal mess-up, but you better do something quick or you're going to have a major trainwreck on your hands.
Stop poasting. This my arena aight.

For those of us technically capable its nothing big. However those people out there who are not, this could be a large issue with. As a software developer myself, I have to laugh at CCP for making one very big mistake, you never screw up your end users machine. This is why we actually have QUALITY CONTROL in software teams. Clearly it is evident that alot of people were not doing their jobs because of this.
Yeah I remember an article you once posted that was pretty technical. Props.
I forget what it was about tho.

Originally by: nonamenoname I'm not sure what's going on... I've installed the classic to premium and the new client has bugged out twice on me and shut down down my computer twice. I'm still here I guess. Will I be affected if I manually reboot?
Those other two time my computer rebooted due to the client freezing and suddenly restarting my PC.
LOL if you can boot back into Winders your good dood.
