Vista is the first OS that will not let you run a piece of software in some instances even if you are admin (unsigned drivers). And guess what, you have to pay them to get them signed -> profit for Micro$oft, so they can just die as far as I'm concerned.
In the next OS you will probable have to ask them permission to run any application.
And the DX10 being doable on Vista only is just BS.

Or you can just click the box and allow unsigned drivers. omgz
Get a clue, yes it let's you install unsigned driver, but NO it doesn't let you run them. If you look at my statement, I said run, not install.
There is no check-box for that.
The only way you can make it run unsigned drivers is to restart the computer in "safe/test" mode.

OS funboys, that's a new low
A OS is definitely a useful piece of software, but this time microsoft managed to pack a record amount of crap in.
Ok, the pretty interface looks nice, but
Do you really like being told by a pice of software what you can and can't do with your computer?
Do you really like all the DRM crap?
Do you really like that now you need 1gig+ of HDD space for a OS? Yes 99% of it it's bloatware. (I have close to 2tbyte hdd space so it dosn't really matter, but I still don't like it)
If I where at microsoft, I would lol at people supporting me and keep on counting the $$
The fact that the eve bug didn't occur on Vista is a pure concidence. You can be sure a lot more bugs and malware will hit vista.
And yes, I'm running vista now, and no, besides the pretty interface there is nothing I like about it.
