Perhaps you dont realise you dont get kill mails anymore, you get a combat log.

Since the patch killmails are now in the character sheet in a new section. Have a look in there. They no longer go to your mail box.

Kill "mails" are now stored in your character sheets.

I would recommend overkilling slightly if you're just looking to get them done for faction/ISK.
Level 1: Destroyer/cruier
Level 2: cruiser+
Level 3: Drake (makes level 3s loleasy)
Save the Raven for level 4s.
Support fixing the EVE UI | Suggest Jita fixes
If you'd suicide gank yourself for what you're hauling, don't.
