i don't know.. this is kind of how i'm starting to feel about vista. i was kind of hoping for some more aggressive patching and the intrusive security makes me want to throw boxes of tea in the water to see if they float.

look at it from the bright side.
Everyone now knows there is a file called boot.ini and that its good to have. Besides you all should have learned the lesson that you always upgrade when Microsoft release a new software. No vista aka- smart users war touched from this silly little bug.

I have XP and my boot.ini is untoched.
What am i doing wrong?
Yes, i did dl the defective patch.
