Hey!
Singularity was being updated with a new patch, which includes several client performance improvements - mostly related to the overview and brackets in space. Optimally you should not be able to notice any difference - except that it is faster. BUT: The changes are partially on a quite low level and have a chance to break a lot (and several major defects have already been fixed). It would be awesome, if you all could help us with making sure that we are not missing any bugs.
When will this be released to TQ? - Hopefully soon, but it depends a bit on how many problems we find.
What bugs shall we look out for?
- Overview: It was being changed a lot. Try different setups, try several tabs, try switching between setups. Is everything displayed correctly?
- Brackets (see known issues)
- Missing text in random windows
- Overlapping text
- Corrupted text
- Crashes
Currently known issues (most already fixed internally):
- Standing icons on brackets in space are broken
- Missing text in the show-info window for systems
- Parts of the HUD (shield...) are a bit too dark
- Fleet broadcasts are not shown on the overview
- Targeting brackets in the overview are not centered correctly
Please write both a bugreport and a short comment in this thread, if you find any new bugs (which are not present on TQ and which are not listed in this post). You can send bugreports either through the ingame bug-reporting tool (press F12) or you can use the website. Please make sure to attach screenshots to the bugreports! Please attach crash-dumps for the case of any crashes (hopefully not). More information about writing bugreports can be found at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_reporting.
Btw: We are also planning a mass-test next week - more information will be coming soon. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance

Hey all!
We will hopefully update Singularity tomorrow with another patch, which should fix a bunch of issues.
It seems like one of the biggest issues is caused by filtering the overview by standing - it causes the overview to stop working completely. We are working on a fix for it. Workaround for now: Avoid filtering the overview by standing. (You might need to restart your client.) CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance

My singularity folder is located as follows c:\program files(x86)\CCP\Singularity...
I believe we have fixed this issue internally - as a workaround for now, try ensuring your input language is set to English. |

Roparzh Greek wrote:Well thanks everyone. However what worries me is that tomorrow patch could screw my main EVE game. Current EVE main game version is 7.21.336683 and Singularity version, which is ahead, is 7.22.338708. I wonder what version will be deployed with crucible 1.1.3 and if I going to have the same trouble with my main EVE game after the patch, I do hope not.
thanks everyone again,
Sincerely,
RG
Today's patch on Tranquility (Crucible 1.1.3) will be 7.21.338500 (which was tested internally) and not 7.22.338708, which is being tested on Singularity. 7.22.x is planned to be Crucible 1.2. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance

Bienator II wrote:regarding the double click thing..
do the following:
transmit the first command if player continues to spam a command { start sampling and transmit only the most recent command }
dropping the last command is exactly the wrong way around (and please stop with the "play slower" notifications)
Please discuss the double click thing in this thread to keep it in one place. CCP Atlas is still tweaking the values for it. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance
