Out of curiosity, have you overclocked your cpu to the advertised 900mhz yet? I hear they underclocked the cpu to keep the system a little cooler and give a 5-10% battery life.
I've not overclocked the CPU yet, it is underclocked at 630Mhz.

My eepc got delivered yesterday. Its an xmas present though from my rents so i cant test it out yet! Its amazing that this works, itll be useful for skill changing at the very least!

I saw the ASUS Eee, but went with the Nokia N810 instead.
It's got damn near the same stats that matter, (except no full keyboard, obviously).
It's screen is also 800x480, but it's only 4". So instead of looking like ass, it looks amazing!
I just got it today and it's ******* awesome.
No it isn't cheap. Mine was $445 shipped from eBay. However, to me it's an ebook reader, GPS navigation device, and laptop replacement all in one. Getting all three of those devices separately will cost you a guesstimated $1,400.
Also, it runs Linux! (yay!)
Now if CCP would just add a web-based skill changing thingamjig.

Made a few phone calls to the local retailers with Eee PC's and sadly, they are all sold out, ah well. At the very least It means I will be waiting and getting the 8GB version.

I want an 8GB Black model simply to give XP more breathing room. Evidently according to EEEUser there's a 16GB model showing up in Japan now. The one bad thing about the 8GB though is that all the memory is on a card in the single available mini-PCIe slot. There's no memory soldered onto the mainboard.

ive seen the eee and thought it was cute reminded me of the old Toshiba from 6-8 yrs ago.. (memory is way off im sure cant even remember the name) but ive noticed the LG's XNOTE TX and she comes w/ the go 7300 which isn't uber but on ultra portable w/ 12" screen mmmmm yummy (: although this is an old like over a yr ago so maybe never happened, i just remembered seeing it and searched... anyways enough ramble
