I've wrote a custom css as well, and a small Greasemonkey script that enables img tags in posts and sigs.

Thanks for showing the addon to Chrome and FF.
I've modified your style just a little bit to add these additional stuff. First one is just yours wrapped into a single one with a few tags attached. The other two remove the "up to Top" image that floats when you scroll and moves the "EVE Dev" image inside a thread to be just above the avatar image instead of floating outside the frame.
Again, awesome work!
.likes, div.like-wrapper, div.like-count-wrapper { display: none !important; } #toTop { display: none !important; } div.badge { left: -8px !important; top: -10px !important; }

Next Time I log in I will donate isk to you.
This add on is what CCP should have given us with all the time they spent on new forums.

Any way to make it so you have to click on the thread text directly to open the thread, rather than any where within the box? Because the thread title table is so wide, if you click anywhere on the left 60% of the page you end up navigating to a thread.. |

Geeze you'd think that people who like to rattle **** like this off might actually bother learning a little bit about evolution.
Evolution has no intention to it, there is no design there is no purpose their is no end point or goal it just is.
An amoeba is a near perfect organism it's not changed in millions of years and is effective immortal. In fact in general more specialized life forms tend to be those most vulnerable to change.
Things don't adapt to survive it's simply a matter of their mutations not being detrimental to their survival. It is pretty much a matter of that which doesn't stop you from reproducing makes you well not so much strong and not a failure.
Remember in evolutionary terms the only qualification for fit (As in survival of the fittest) is living long enough to pass your DNA to the next generation. That's it, strength, speed, intellect are all irrelevant.
Oh and humanities success as a species has absolutely nothing to do with our adapting to fit our environments but rather our adapting our environments to fit our needs. |

Ok so how about narrow the width of the thread title area? |

AnzacPaul,
There are two different CSS styles depending on the browser you are using. .
Chrome CSS version (tested in version 13.0.782.220 m)
div.maintopic-content a.main { display: inline; padding: 0 !important; padding-left: 20px !important; line-height: 100%; background-position:0 0 !important; position: relative; top: -2px; } span.topicPager { position: relative; top: 14px; }
FireFox CSS version (tested in version 6.0.2)
div.maintopic-content a.main { float: left !important; display: inline !important; padding: 0 !important; padding-left: 20px !important; line-height: 100% !important; background-position:0 0 !important; position: relative !important; top: -2px !important; height: 14px !important; } span.topicPager { top: 14px !important; }
Hope this helps. Also, let me know if you are having a problem or the display isn't quite right. I will help where I can.

I have Firefox 6.0.2...Can't seem to find version 7. Is that a beta or pre-release?

This is great man, thanks very much.
Also, this is just the latest example of why CCP needs to allow custom UI addons (a la WoW, for example). The community would have it fixed in a hundred different ways inside of a week. |

Nice one :) Will add similiar code to CFS right away and fix the alignment on same go.
Thanks for the idea. [red]This is one of the moments where we look at what CCP does and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change[/red] ^^ In old forums that text was red and we could post bunnies too. |

Noticed a problem in your code. You have a semicolon out of place.
Quote:.UserBox { ; padding: 4px !important; text-align: left !important; border-right: 1px solid #666666 !important; border-left: 1px solid #666666 !important; border-bottom: 1px solid #666666 !important; }
Also want to give a big thank you for the style even though I have made my own tweaks to font size as i find 11px a bit small. |

Ah yea thank you. That semicolon didn't seem to affect stylish plugin any way at least in firefox, but removed it anyways to be on safe side :)

I'm happy if people find use for this style as a whole or as a base for their custom tweaks. Modifying it is preferctly ok and recommended if preferred to do so :) [red]This is one of the moments where we look at what CCP does and less of what they say. Btw, I don't know if you've noticed, but you can make the stylesheet page-sensitive so it modifies thread lists differently than it does the threads themselves, and the edit page can be targeted for special styling as well.
The main body (basically anything that isn't contained within the standard page header that exists for all pages) is contained within an id-tagged div, and you can use this to target specific pages.
For instance #yafpage_posts for thread view #yafpage_topics for the subforum view #yafpage_postmessage for the posting page.
I'm sure there are more of them, but these are the ones I'm using to make sure repeated classes get treated differently depending on what kind of page they appear on. v2.20 is up.
-> Edit box widths are now scalable. -> Some edit box layout tweaks. -> Quick reply now aligns properly with forum jump bar and looks more solid.
If no clear bugs appear - this is the final build.

Here's some code (works both in FF and Chrome) changes the visual behavior of the "QUOTE" button.
Key things it changes: 1) Removes the "hover" effect when you hover over the entire post. Only shows the "hover" effect when over the button now. 2) Changes the opacity of the quote button to be solid by default for all messages. 3) Changes the case-sensitive from all CAPS to Mixed case. 4) Positioning is more compact so it wont take up extra white-space.
div.inner { top:-4px !important; } a.btn[title="Reply with Quote"] { text-transform: none !important; } div.rightItem.buttonsection { margin:4px 0 0 0 !important; } .yafnet table.postContainer .buttonsection, .yafnet table.postContainer_Alt .buttonsection { opacity: 1.0 !important; }
