In a desperate attempt to try and find out why eve runs so poorly on my Vista 64 system I'm trying to find out what other people's FPS are with similar setups.
Mine is as follows -
Athlon 64 3500+
2GB RAM
Nvidia 7800GTX
1600 x 1050 res
45 - 55 FPS in station
30 - 35 FPS in space
10-20 FPS in an asteroid belt ratting.

mine pegs at 60 no matter what

4GB DDR2
C2D @3.4ghz
by the way why are you running 64bit when you only have 2GB of ram?

by the way why are you running 64bit when you only have 2GB of ram?
I didn't realise you needed more ram for 64 bit? What is recommended?

Think what he meant was that you only really need to run the 64bit version of Vista when you have 4Gb of RAM or more.

Several games can do 64 bit now a days.
I get 90-120 FPS in space but it'll slow down to 20-30 at stations or populated spaces
Q6600 running at 2.4
8800 GTS
Vista 64 ulti

all settings max station + 10 ships
shadows off 190 fps
shadows normal 60 fps
shadows extreme 10 fps
i hope the shadows are bugged :P

Extreme seems to be, i have 2 8800GTs and i hit around 15fps in extreme, and I also can't tell the difference between extreme and high (seriously).

I have Vista ultimate 64 bit - Ill post the results later but for now on plain old xp..
E6600 - Stock speed
3.25GB DDR2 RAM (i have 4 but 32bit OS limits it to 3.25) - Stock speed also
8800GTX - Guess what... yup, stock speed.
2x 74gb raptors in raid 0 (striped)
Everything set as high as possible with HDR + 16x AA/AF with shadows set to high (extreme seems bugged, not much difference anyway) running at 1920x1200 i get around 60-80fps It does change a lot depending on enviroment but it seems quite stable. I can also fraps it at fullscreen at 25fps no problems. I havent noticed it stutter at all as of yet other when its initially loading models etc.
Im attempting to locate some 64 bit wireless drivers that will work for me, once i do ill get vista installed and put an update in here with the new fps scores for you all - should be a nice comparison though i might OC my components a bit (I know my E6600 goes as high as 3.8GHz)

In station 170-240
In space alone 170-240
Looking at a gate with about 20-30 people 30-50FPS
I've turned off shadows and HDR.
Turning off HDR gave me the biggest boost.
