Shame to see you leave, the API idea was one of the best things happening to dev's of non-CCP applications (EveMon, inEve, ...) THank you for that!

One of the strengths of Eve as a game has been the support provided by players in the form of third party tool software like EveMON, mining and ore calculators, mission databases, jump drive route planners, etc.
Most of the devs, we have no idea really what it is you do, those whose jobs are to actively interact with and respond to the needs of the player base are highly valued. You are one of the things that sets CCP apart from other game companies.
The best gift to the community, however, would be proper documentation of what you have done, left in an easy-to-understand format for the next person. Please, ensure your legacy remains a living creation, and not a relic.
I hope the increasingly poisonous atmosphere on the forums since the Trinity release was not to blame for your leaving. Your efforts to allow greater functionality while preserving our accounts' integrity and server stability continues to be a great boon to us. Although we often sling barbs at CCP in general, in fact much of the time they are aimed only at the person or few people responsible for a given bug getting free, and not at every employee, something that often gets lost in the shuffle.
I hope that you leave CCP with the understanding of how much your efforts mean to many of us, and I hope your future employer values your vision and your skils. If not, send them to us and we'll sort 'em out.
