I got stuck earlier tonight in Jita while trying to warp in to pick up some remotely purchased goods in the system.
Though it is unfortunate by itself this happens is just one of those things that happen.
The reason for my thread though is that of thanks and to pass along my very positive impression of the service I received tonight. I feel CCP deserves to hear the positive as well as the the so often negative found on this forum.
So my story goes something like this:
After the realization came to me I might be somewhat stuck in Jita I kept trying for a few hours to log on with my main, who was by now no doubt sleeping at the control console deck, and not wanting to be bothered in his sleepy state no connection was established.
On any normal night I would have just called it quits and tried it again the day after but I had just finished training a skill while being stuck so that all to familiar feeling that I wouldn't like to lose training time if it could be avoided snuck in.
So, I decided to try filing a "stuck" petition via this website.
When done I sat back, not really expecting a resolution for the next few hours from what I'm used to from other online games.
Only a few minutes later, probably within 5, I checked the "my petitions" page again out of curiosity and a touch of blind hope. To my great exhilaration and surprise the petition had already been sorted! In particular in this case by a GM Dionysus, followed with a very polite letter.
So in the end I just wanted to say thanks, the hastiness and politeness of the response I received was above my expectations.

Hehe, last time I did a stuck petition for jita a GM moved me to Sobaseki and scolded me for trying to go to Jita 
I got yelled at for going there and haven't been back since

Same thing happened to me a little while ago, and it only took them a few minutes.
I bet there is someone sitting there devoted to moving people right now.

CCP generally responds to 'stuck' petitions pretty quickly, and I've always appreciated it.

Too funny, I've only been actually stuck there once but I do try to avoid it like the plague. I prefer to shop from Perimeter and pickup in Jita, making the whole trip about 10% less horrible.

no that is not a good customer service, that is the minimum requirement for them to sell their product..
you know it is bad when people are THANKING the gm's for unstucking them because of a problem that SHOULDN'T, and WOULDN'T be there if not for ****ty mechanic...
then you know that the service have hit the depth...
like going into a supermarket getting ignore with anything you ask about then going to the cashier and THANKING for actually giving you your change back, and describing this a "good service"..

Idiot, the problem is caused by the players. Jita is very easy to avoid, in fact you can get to pretty much every system in eve without going through it! |
