After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved. For your convenience we have included the appropriate CONCORD War Rules: The weekly cost is 2,000,000.00 ISK and you will receive a bill which needs to be paid promptly to maintain the war. If the bill is not paid before it is due then the war will be cancelled. If the war is cancelled then do not pay any outstanding bills for that war. When an active war has been cancelled, there is a 24 hour grace period during which you can still be legally attacked. If you are at war with a corporation that joins an alliance then the war will change from being against the corporation to being against the alliance. If you are at war with an alliance and a corporation leaves that alliance then you will still be at war with the alliance but also temporarily at war with the corporation that left. The war against the corporation that leaves an alliance lasts 24 hours during this period you can attack them until the war expires. Should you wish to resume hostilities against such a corporation then you need to declare war again." The 24 hours have passed, obviously, and in my corp window, the war shows up, and it says that I can fight, but when I shoot at our "targets" which don't show up red btw, I get insta-CONCORDED. Check in your corp tab under wars to check if its active Has your enemy done something like dropping out and renaming their corp or anything weird like that? SKUNK

Fifth Horseman	Posted - 2007.12.13 15:06:00 - [22] Edited by: Fifth Horseman on 13/12/2007 15:09:37 Check the status of your targets, there is a bug* if they join an alliance in the meantime, you can end up with the situation you describe. 1 out of 3 wars where they join an alliance during the vote period have been correctly denied to me, the other 2 went like you said. 1 out of 3 wars where they join an alliance during the 24 hour warm up, have correctly escalated to an alliance war, one went like you describe, the other was similar in that you got CONCRDD on pod kills, but attacking ships was sentry gun, and no sec losses. The GM response to this was as usual, pitiful.** I am NOT saying there is a bug in Eve, do not send your fanboiz to ride me down, troll me, and take the food from my mouth.
