(ooc OK I think I pressed the right button now. )
This might be a rare moment lately when Pulgor and I actually agree on something.
Russo, human life is not there for your amusement or to be a prize to be won in a raffle. I would have expected better from a member of a race that once fought for it's own freedom. ------

Russo, I would be much obliged if you would forward me a copy of the list of ticket purchasers so the PFM know who to add to our KoS list as well as yourself.
Thanks in advance.

Why not do me a favour and pod yourself, I'll even pay for the clone if you do. Save me the trouble of doing it myself. ---------------------------

Now, now Tyto. There may be a caring soul or two out there who are interested in winning these slaves for the purpose of setting them free. Rash threats of death are certain to discourage such philanthropists.
You terrorists would do well to remember that you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar.
As for a KOS list, you may as well add me. Russo is a valued wingman and has saved me from an untimely clone activation more times than I care to think of. My guns will be at his side should he require them.

You may protest the activity, but slaves are legally classified as "property" in the Amarr Empire.
So long as Russo:
1. Has a legal Amarrian slave trader license. 2. Obtains a health permit from the Amarrian Ministry of Internal Affairs. 3. Pays Imperial sales taxes on the sale of his property.
No legal sanctions can be taken against him in the Amarr Empire. The Caldari State on the other hand may not turn such a blind eye.
In any event, I have a few dozen slaves that I recently rescued from rogue Khanid traders who were attempting to sell them to agents of Sansha's Nation. I have no use for them, so I offer them free to a good home.

Edited by: Pulgor on 13/03/2004 00:49:42 You also forgot that he must also reside within the Empire, and be an Amarr citizen for your laws to protect him. As I understand it he is not a member of the Ammatar's and he would have be a slave himself if he was a member of the Amarrian empire, therefore he is not protected by Amarrian law.
And Deacon, I would remind you that The Purple Cross has inititives to assist slaves and former slaves. However, I suspect from your support of this activity that you're most likely getting a piece of the pie. -----------------------------------

Do not presume to lecture me on the laws of our people. Russo is protected so long as he resides within our borders and obeys the law.
I am no slave peddler Pulgor, merchants have a much lower social status than clergymen or soldiers in our Empire. This is because merchants work for profit and themselves, while clergymen and soldiers work for the better of the Empire. I can only assume that you insult me out of ignorance of this fact.
I am not giving away these slaves out of a sense of guilt or misplaced altruism. My problem is that a majority of them are small children! They are destroying my home: staining my carpeting, wrecking my furniture, trashing my landscaping, there are little handprints all over my walls, they are boisterous and constantly loud, they eat far too much, they are always getting filthy, and my chef and estate manager have both threatened to quit.
The Ammatar orphanages are full, the Holy Church wants nothing to do with them, the Ministry of Internal Order will "get back to me" someday, the SPCS has not responded yet, and my Amarr Navy agent told me that they are "my problem now". I am frustrated, tired, and will do anything at this point to rid myself of them.

I have studied Amarr law, it was essential when I was making The Purple Cross.
I insult you because you do something worthy of being insulted for. If you truly do not want the slaves and wish to illigaly profit from them then that is your business, just don't expect to be appriciated for it.
As for protecting him within Amarr boarders, your illigal business is your own. However I am flabbergasted that Amarr defence forces would engage in illigal activity, and harbour illigal slave traders. -----------------------------------

All the requirements listed by Deacon Ezar have been met. So this Raffle, although unheard of, is legal. I dont know why I have been getting so many death threats over this from terrorist organizations. Like they have a sense of righteous justice, they who slaughter innocence in the name of innocence. The slaves are being treated well, and I thought a Raffle would be a good way to see what would win... The free Minmatar who might put up money to win the freedom of their brothers and sisters, or the Amarr...who might need some more hands on an agri-world. If the terrorists wish to use weapons instead of a relatively small ammount of money to set their people free, please feel free to declare war on my corporation. You deserve to put on the KOS list, and if war comes to you, then again it is well deserved. Stock up well on clones Russo, I'm sure that all that profit wil be going to keeping them up and running very soon. ---------------------------------

There will always be Minmatar slaves. Neither you or your corp is going to change that. You may as well try to win the raffle and set a few free. I've had some people buy raffle tickets who probably wouldnt be the nicest of masters. Russo - CEO Amarria Auxilia Your friendly neighborhood badass

If you've read some of the other material I've written you'd realize that unlike most Minmatar, I respect the Amarrian culture and beliefs.
However, I don't respect what you're doing and the reason I'm not buying tickets is not so much as a means of protest, but more so because I just really don't like you. -----------------------------------

Russo I am on vaction at Sarum Prime again, so I won't be able to contact you in person but add me to the list of potential buyers for these slaves, as tyto most likely already has me on his list I don't mind at all. I am always looking for more slaves I'm a good master and I like them. Read my bio for proof!
As for all the death threats, don't mind them Russo they hardly ever make good on them. I think its very honorable of you to offer them up to anyone. I find it interesting that the Minmatar people can't take their guns down for a few moments to realize you've given them an easier way to free their people, but that doesn't bother me at all.
Brother Ezar, the next time you are trouble with a group of rascals as such simply seek me out. They can be trained and taught quickly when paired up with some of my older and wiser slaves. Home of Ubiqua Seraph Eve's only all Sarum loyal corporation. |

I will hunt you down, rip out your larynx, stab out your eyes, cut off your ears, and keep your nose nice and healthy so you can puke from the smell of your own rotting bodily appendages. Edited by: Garreck on 15/03/2004 15:06:35 I fail to understand the mindset here. Russo is obviously not a slave trader. He is not profiting from the sale of slaves as such...rather, he is profiting from a test of resolve. The resolve of the minmatar people (or other benevolent citizens) to have a chance of freeing these slaves, and the resolve of any amarr that are in need of...extra labor.
The party with enough resolve to buy heavily into the raffle will have the highest chance of seeing these slaves treated in a manner they think most appropriate.
I suggest those of you protesting the "sale" of slaves start buying tickets. All of your empty words will add up to a lot of hypocracy if you simply sit inactive and make pointless threats while these slaves end up in the hands of an abusive Amarrian slaver.
