With my tengu i got a bit ago my setup was boring Full T2 After a Month Of grinding Level 4's without hardly collecting any loot just Loyalty Points from each mission i upgraded from a T2 fit to this.
[Tengu, Farmer1] Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Capacitor Flux Coil II
Pith C-Type Large Shield Booster Shield Boost Amplifier II Caldari Navy Invulnerability Field Caldari Navy Invulnerability Field 10MN Afterburner I
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Trauma Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Trauma Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Trauma Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Trauma Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Trauma Fury Heavy Missile [empty high slot]
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II
Tengu Defensive - Adaptive Shielding Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix Tengu Offensive - Rifling Launcher Pattern Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Hobgoblin II x5
Reason for rifiling launcher pattern instead of accelterated launcher bay was i love drones for the webbers and such while i focus on BC and higher,
MY stats 496 dps total with hob II's 1826 volley Resits 68|93|90|84, Cap stable at 52% 563 m/s
This is my Farming fit that i use just for getting loyalty points fast tanks well does nice dps and isnt as slow as a battleship. |

That's pretty much the "standard" tengu fit for missions. Change the hardeners depending on the mission and pimp it where you want to. With hardwires you should be able to get ~700 DPS
I dont like the T2 Medium shield booster. Sends a chill up my spine. the fit i use isnt all that expensive eathier. and my drones kill frigs fast enough without a tp. to guide them. your also useing a outdated version of eft ive noticed. Scourge = trauma.

BearJews wrote:I honestly can't figure out how you fit the tengu so badly with the plethora of information found on the internet. This should be your only tengu cause you know why?? It's not too expensive, it's not overtanked and it has MAXIMUM gank. If you lose this ship in a mission you are just an R tard.

Switch out hardeners/Ammo Accordingly.
Funny part is. with the two CN hardners is i dont need to change them out at all not even for to counter npc dps. 2nd part is. the dual gistii B-types when i looked on contracts where 55 mill a pop for two it was 110 mill i got my pith C-type on contracts for 115 mill. and get more out of it for only 5 mill more..my two CN invuls didnt spend anything on them as i run Caldari missions and had loyalty points out the wazoo. same with my CN ballistic control systems. my T2 Rigs i built them up from salvage. only things i bought was everything else minus rigs, invuls,CN ballistic controls.

Jason McCoy wrote:y did you start this thread? To show off such a crappy fit? or to find a pat in the back?
We are telling you its wrong - ive been flying tengus for over two years now, and ive lost two so far. I know for a fact the fit you posted is wrong. I did not post my fit because I am too lazy to log in and look at what I use.
Others have posted excellent fits yet you are justifying your crap fit. Trust the folks who posted fits.
A large shield booster on a cruiser is wtfbbq! Cap rigs on the tengu is wtfbbq for PVE.
Without digging into your skills train your nav skills up to 5s and watch your cap stability sky rocket. Put some damage rigs and you will eat through missions. Put on some target painters and watch those frigs die in a fire.
Its what I did, its what others have done, pay attention and listen, you'll see.
Their is something seriously wrong with your Avatar. but i aint gonna say anything about that, other then what i just did. I made this thread to show what i use. and dont fly the same boring fits you see on (battleclinic).
If CCP wanted everyone to fly tengu or any other strategic cruiser a certain way. heck they wouldnt of made all those subsystems.
True or False?
And my fit with my skills i do level 4's pretty darn fast. However haveing a drone bay is nice when you get guristas mission where they jam you to Hell and Back...

You get scrammed and webbed in that and you're dead in seconds. [sarcasm] Well I must be a damn good pilot as I have run every L4 mission in it dozens of times and never came close to dying. Not to mention with this setup you get a 700DPS tank This is the only reason I haven't spent 1bil ISK on an A-type repper to give this fit a 800+DPS tank. Plus if you get webbed and scrammed you are doing something wrong. Any tengu pilot knows the primary targets of new spawns are always web/scram frigates.
What's wrong with spending a billion isk?
