Ok, let me see if I have this straight ...
Hulk:
8000 m3 cargo space (w/o the expanders taking effect)
3 Modulated Strip Miners II (or whatever)
2 High end cargo expanders
Revelation:
7250 ,3 cargo space (no expanders in effect)
4 Modulated Strip Miners II (or whatever)
8 High end cargo expanders
=============
Therefore, more cargo expanders, more strip miners, .... is this correct? I know it requires much more skills to use then a Hulk .... but .. hot damn .. can something actually outmine and out store (cargo hold, or even Miner Upgrades) a Hulk? The Miner Guide have no mentioning of this ship at all ..
Am I reading this correctly?

I'm not a miner, but I thought strip miners required a certain CPU reduction to use?

You've got it wrong.
The revelation can make a good mining Hauler - but it can't fit the strip miners because IIRC they require 10,000CPU each? Therefore can only be fit on barges due to their 99% reduction in CPU usage bonus.
However if ya wanna put normal modulated Miners on a Revelation go for gold.
