An update to debunk the buffersize myth. Adding/Changing the buffersize to equal 1024MB or even 1024 on a 2GB RAM system, does not change the amount of memory used by EVE. Therefore ,this myth is busted :)

buffsize made no difference at all unfortunately, the memory still use the same amount of MB. You can go into your task manager. On the right hand side of the process list shows the amount of ram used.

Prefs.ini must be from a very very old version of EVE. There is no Prefs.ini file for the newest (6 months or newer) version of eve. So how do we do these changes to a non-existent file?

Should of read the forums first :) There are tons of threads in this forum concerning the payment processor being offline. CCP is being mum on the word, which usually mean major bad news.

Good Morning, I went to buy an account yesterday, and the credit card processor was offline. Therefore, I ended up doing a 14 day trial. I submitted a petition, but not reply yet, which is understandable. Hopefully they are fixing that processor....
