It seems to me that the Ice Harvester Upgrade II and the Mining Laser Upgrade II are a bad choice when compared to their meta 5 counterparts. I would like to see the T2 versions ice mining duration and the T2 mining yield amount upgraded so that they are better than their meta 5 counterparts.
For example:
The Ice Harvester Upgrade II could have a -10% cycle time bonus.
The Mining Laser Upgrade II could have a 10% mining amount bonus.
This would at least make the T2 variant a step up from the meta 5 variant.

You fail to consider one thing.
T2 is like what, a few million ISK each?
Meta 4 is like what, 500M each?

Whats the deal with meta values anyway? havent found a guide on that yet.

It's most important with invention. Anyways, the higher the meta level, the better it is. I believe meta 0 is T1, 1-4 is named, 5 is for T2, and officer ones range up to 14 or 17 (forget which).

The Best Named (Meta 4) module are often times slightly better than the T2 (Meta 5) variant. Of course the only supply of those Meta 4 items is from rat drops, so prices are usually higher than the buildable T2 modules.
I'd like to see more benefit out of the T2 mining upgrades, but as it stands, they ARE pretty much inline with most other modules. Either way, I'm not complaining.

I believe most T2 use more CPU and PG, but are a bit better then their meta 4 counterpart.
The only difference for the upgrades here is that they use more CPU or PG, but still get the same bonus as the meta 4.
