i believe currently there is no way to transport the illegal boosters and other items though empire space without getting found and fined or loosing sec status but this is unrelistic in my opinion i know that the ship scanners are highly advance but wouldnt someone of invented a way past these scanners???
my idea is a simple module (or a can) tht u put in your ship it cant hold much but has a jamming sensor soo it and its cargo cannot be detected this wud mean illegal goods can be sold and transported (in small amounts) across empire space this can also be used to help out haulers with precious cargo by holding there more expensive items in this hold and it cant be detected easily (if this unit was a module a smart pilot would be able to check the modules on a ship and notice some missing and be able to assume they have a secret compartment type module
this is just an idea what do you think please dont shout at me for this hahaha ------------------- The life of one can change the lives of many

i'd still like to see a whole line of "smugglers" items... things like "smugglers cargo bay II" that reduces your cargo hold by x% but makes it seem empty to scan by players and allows you to fly thru high sec w/o being caught...
other smuggler items could be like smuggler cans that're anchorable but not viasble on overview or visually without having entered the correct password, much like starbase shield passwords.
or a smugglers cloacking device that you can run anytime (ie it stays on even when jumping, warping, and what not) but drains cap rather then has no activation costs.
maybe even a smuggler class ship? as fast as a cepter but w/ the cargo of a cruser+ maybe? __________ [-WSI-] "In the name of God, impure souls of the living deal shall be banished into eternal damnation. AMEN." |

There are several entities in game that are specialized in the transport of illegal/illicit goods. This is all I would say in the matter. -- Sig removed, inappropriate content. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Cortes ^^ Woo hoo! Yellow Text!... wait... :( |

Agreed.
Don't expect people tell you how to do it. It's a ludicrous market :)

The penalty also includes confiscation of the slaves.

You have a base 90% chance to smuggle illegal goods.
The Black Market Trading and Smuggling skills will further reduce the chances of being caught to an absurdly low amount, you could then throw on a Snake set on top of that and the odds of being busted would be about that of being struck by lightning. -- Support fixing the EVE UI | Suggest Jita fixes

Both skills have (or should have) been removed from the game though.

Edited by: Nautius Maximus on 17/12/2007 06:53:27 Maybe a smuggler cargo bay plus an associated skill. Something like...Casual Flying.
