The shopping and selling is NOT better. Sure you get marginally more money, and waste 4 hours that you could spend earning ISK waiting to hear back from the stuck petition, whining on the forum or watching a screen of ungodly lag... STOP DOING IT! Jita doesn't work, you knew this last time you went into Jita and you still keep on doing it.
The definition of stupid is doing something that you know to be counterproductive over and over again and expecting different results.
