I have exactly the same problem; really annoying as a newb. Means I cant get into the game. Would love to know how to fix this.

Found a way around this. Separate one single ore from the stack of ten in your hold and just jettison the single ore. Worked for me - hope it helps you.

As far as i can remember that particular page in the tutorial also asks you to open the jettisoned container and move the items back to your own cargo hold. The tutorial will not proceed until the container is empty and imploded.

Yes friend thats where it was locking up. I would jettison the 10 ore, but the tutorial would not move forward and talk about putting it back into cargo.

You have too head too a station when you put the ore back in your cargo, when you get inside the station it'll continue with explaning the turot, that's when you get your first agent...

Try a different race. I had a problem got annoyed deleted character and tried ano race and the tutorial worked.
Then after doing the tutorial all the way through I restarted original race.
BTW how do to single pick something off container etc

Press shift while you pick something up and you can say how many you want to split from the stack.

To loot the container, right click the container and choose "open cargo", open your ships cargo hold, then just pick up the items in container and drag to your hold. The empty container will explode and vanish then.

There's another strange thing I've noticed about the Tutorial. When you get inside your first station it walks you through a bunch of various actions. One that it wants you to do is buy a civilian shield booster. I've yet to see one actually being sold in any newbie station and it means you will be stuck at that part for a while. Other than placing a buy order is there another way around this? |

I am at the point where you need to sell your minerals after you refined it. But nobody wants trytanium. There's a vast oversupply of the space station construction mineral and I think placing a sell order at 1 ISK a piece will have me waiting till I actually have that long hair my character has before someone buys it :-)
Any suggestions how I can sell so the tutorial continues ?
EDIT: Nevermind, I alt-tabbed to ask this and the game crashed because of it now I logged in and the tutorial is aborted, i think :-(
