It must be there somewhere but I'm lazy  :
I assume that all the new ores in the mining missions are not necessarily totally new ie, as Jonathan Calvert pointed out below,  Quote:
Augemene, is a Pyroxes sub ore
or words to that effect  .
Can someone please make the same connection between, say, Green Arisite and ???, PolyGypsum and ??? etc.
In short, which crystals would work with what weird and wonderfull new ore? Thank you

It should say in the mission details. I just got one to get Pithix and its a sister to Jaspet.

Green Arisite is a sub Gneiss
Polygypsum is a sub of Arknor
Geodite is a sub of Crokite
Oeryl is a sub of Dark Ochre
Those are the only ones I have seen so far

right-click on the ore icon in the mission and it will pop a "remove/add X ore to overview"
where X is the plain ore normal variant so you know what crystal to put.
On a similar note, anyone know where I can get t2 mining crystal bpc's? I can't find any on the market.

There is no way to find any bpc on the market, only unused bpos can be found there
