The SOE Capitol ship Oberon has now joined the ranks of ships that are designed.
Engineered stats to come soon and final purpose has been realized.
Oberon is a mobile Observatory able to take any wormhole system effect into a compact software that can then be ran elsewhere reproducing the effect for further study.
She has less mass than an equatable capitol of her size making her a pefereable wormhole capable ship.
Her Scientific Core puts her into a observatory mode where capitol sized analyzers can be used to generate the software to reproduce the effect. Also every celestrial in the system becomes viewable and the singal off of them becomes strong enough to warped to. This comes at a cost of her shields and resistance fields and robbing her of mobility for a few minutes, and the signals she generates are more than enough to reveal her own location to everyone in the system a small band of battleships could potentially kill her easily if she is undefended.
She cannot deploy her core while any major gravity source is on grid with her. So she may not be in range of a starbase or an outpost or star gate.
Her compiled software can be ran by any other ship with similar power cores and processing abilities including herself, super carriers that fit gang link modules and titans that fit gang link modules. When the software is employed the effect that was harvest is then reproduced to everyone on the same grid.

Sorry I have been busy elsewhere doing this and that, working on a mk 2 thanatos as well.
New things comming up
Thukker's will be getting a gas miner ship as thier 'industrial ship'
SOE ships will get a swiss army knife for thier industiral with bonses for analzyers code breakers and salvagers and probe laucnher.
Mordus would get an 'arhceaology' ship thats more focused on yeild instead of power conservation.
SOE Urania Intercpetion Nullifier Navigation subsystem Will be nerfed to disallow fitting of microwarp drives the system is not compatable with it. Speed of it will also be nerfed a bit more.
Thukker capitol ships are realized HOWEVER since they're offspec industry I felt it was unfiar to give them capitols while denying Mordus thier capitol ships I need to sit down and brainstorm what would a capitol hacking ship do?
The Hummer as its been nicknamed for the modus is being built and final construction was in the the process still but with the thanatos in the yard I have to get that constructed first since thats a paid job.
More extensive ORE section will be added maybe.
I still need to bring up the Research Point store.
Revision I see stopped at the end of hacking and that was for grammer only, Ill need to sweep salvaging and ore for that and ill go back and rehammer the hacking and salvaging to be a bit more concise.
Appendixes oh my I got alot of them to make still for additional infomrfation.
I need to redo the analzyer and data streaming analzyer modules.
Generate icons for all modules.
Get the tech 2 paint jobs done.
Engineer everyones stats
build the 4 empire survey ships.
Ah just long list of things I need to get done, either way I do enjoy any feedback question and critism.

Kudos for the effort, and I haven't read it all, but I'd like to start adding some feedback.
Hacking:
Great idea, but I'd like to offer some suggestions. I think that having individual firewalls for all the possible targets is a bit too complex. For instance, rather than having a skill firewall, and a ship design firewall, and a wallet firewall, it may be enough to just have a player firewall. Assuming a successful hack of the player firewall, the hacker recieves a bit of information at random (or weighted by specific hacking skills) from the pool of targets protected by the firewall. If the information isn't of the type desired, the hacker must try again. Also, I think the notepad whould be removed from possible targets just because it is so easy to diplicate that functrionality with out of game tools. I think people would stop using the in-game notepad in faver of OS versions if they knew it could be the target of hacking.
Salvaging/Garbage:
I think one should be careful about the ammo aspect of this that you suggest. Eve is a very min/max oriented game, so youy really run the risk of having useless ammo or over powered ammo. I really think the idea of false-positives for scanning (probes or directional) is an excellent idea. In fact I think Eve could benefit with a bit more gray around the ability to gather data in nearly all cases.
One general thing that would help me conceptualize your ideas would be a sort-of schematic or flowchart that would lay out how the components/skills and modules relate to each other. I think it'd be easier, then, to see where there might be a game breaking oversight.
I'll post more as I read more.

Quick retort to the hacking aspec
Would it be better if that there is a generic random 'port' access program with good access and as deeper that port is the less of an access chance it receives?
This of course would require reshaping up all the firewalls.
Retort to the jumker ammo.
I was putting examples but to drive the idea that jumker ammo would be most unusual instead I could potentially hammer out the idea later in the appendix and keep it out of the presentation area.
Retort to the flow chart.
Make a comic once it was pertty horrible then, I'll be likely to try again with MC access making flow chart and effect.
Thank you very much for giving good feedback this is what I have been looking for a long time. I look forward to more.

if you're including a mining overhaul with this idea, please consider some of the ideas listed in this thread such as:
Quote:What if, while mining some basic ore, you have a chance, however small, of mining some exceedingly valuable alloy or mineral (or whatever)? What if it was valuable simply because it had attributes that were completely unattainable via any other means? Like mineral compression for instance? What if while mining Trit you happen to see some "super-ultra-mega-compressed-hyper-density-quantum-tritanium" (I just made that up by the way) pop up in your cargo hold? What if this stuff converted to 10 MILLION Trit per unit, and you just got 10 units of it in your cargo bay? And guess what the best part is? Each unit only takes up 10m3.
Quote:The game designers could make the coloration even more subtle, so that the best and most experienced miners could cherry pick the belts of the choicest rocks by discerning combinations of spin rate (denser ore = faster spin) and subtle variations in the asteroid texture and coloration (this one has specs of gold ore on the surface, but this other one has spider-like veins of black and silver ore woven through it etc...). A High Sec Manifesto |

I should probably spend more time updating this than drowning the new module idea thread.

I mulled over what flette said and I have to agree the entire thing is a bit too.... convulted. Less in the interface more into the tools I say.
To do this I will have to go with the port system. This will centralize defense software, and expodentially expand the offensive warfare suits. To make things more concise Ill will merge the warheads into the software like how there various thermal missiles so that port attacks are named and thier methood of entry will be the detractor.

Well I think I got the finalized concept for the empire survey frigates drawn out Im still iffy on the amarrian one.
I am going to be bouncing the empire survey ships off the mining frigates since these also dont have tech 2 variants yet and it should be useful enough to warrent tier 2 in training levels. It would be a early use frgiate and a free one to teach about the remade salvaging and hacking.

Okay update,
Research Missions in the original idea fully cancelled I felt it is much better to merge the stuff that could make a mission interesting or alternatives into acutal regular missions instead.
Research Point store is however back in still, it will be a pure item store turn in system. All mini professions (and by extent all professions) can obtain these items by doing the job. They can either resell or use the items themselves. The miniprofessions however will have much more oppertunity to encourter or gather said turn in items.
More details here. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=25142#post25142
Aside from that offical update log. Update 2.22.114
- Revised Oresome, clarified and expanded the outposts and ore properties.
- Revised The Bitter Pill, further explained the new Research Point store and the removal of the old system entirely.

Well... I am faced with having to adapt again.
Inferno holds alot of effed up new things I have to step up and change up to.
First of which is naming conventions. Ill be ditching the suffix and prefix names for exchange for a four digit alphanumeric tag instead.
Letters used would be shared groups at a time and try to make it sensible
Like (C)PU (P)ower (T)weakers would all be the fitting for ALL modules.
If you have any feedback on these changes let me know. Ill be updating posts shortly.

Well inferno is comming and new incarna suggest popped up to which I am taking a liking to. Ill try to get at least hacking and archeology for out of pod experince.
In other news I have decided I wont be drawing the empire recovery ships.
Instead Ill just reused existing models the ibis, velator, reaper, and imperator models and update them to 'militarized' standards that have to be built from blueprints instead of free.
Planetary belts opens up a new place to harvest but nothing more as far as I can see.
New hacking software may be used in out of pod experince as well.
Ill be formatting the ideas over again review and refining them and I think.
I belive I have gotten capital versions of the hacking ships on the way that would free me up to release the thukker capitals as well.
