/me is Photoshop CS3 certified (by Adobe, no less) and I'm nowhere near as good as this guy. Damn nice skills you got there.
And to the non-believers that say he's cloning another image, I certify that he's not. Nor is he healing it from another image. He's freehanding it. The only thing I can possibly see that he might be doing is picking colors from the other image and using them in the new one.

Why are you such sure that I'm 'he'? ;>
I was using dropper while taking colors from current image. Why should I bother to pick a new color from pallete, similiar to the one that is already on the picture? :)

Same here.
I watched the vid and it's amazing,must have took a lot of determination to paint that for 5 hours.
And to the ones to said he cloned that why don't you do better if you're such pros.

I don't think anyone doubts you freehanded it. It's pretty evident you're using the pen/brush tools and no amount of video editing could hide that. :)
Anyway, I'm wondering if you did the pic freehand with your mouse or used a wacom tablet or similar?

Oh, they have probably gone back to trolling, the only skill they have nobody can beat them in.
Also, great work, saw you got my donation a while back, you really are tallented, could probably do well making signatures or something.

I did it all by mouse, because there were big issues with my graphic tablet (it's a cheap one, not wacom, I can't afford it).

I haven't ever made any signature or such, I'm using photoshop for painting not for putting things together :)
I'm going to start drawing something bigger, more detailed, with a few ships, in the beggining of February. Wyvern was just my first try in photoshop, just a little practice to draw something big :)

Alqua Evulque don't let people get to you.
I was floored the first time I watched it and so were a lot of other people who watched it as well.
A vast majority of people do not post on the forums cause they are too busy playing or don't think it is worth there time with all the flamers.
Nice job and I will definitely be looking forward to your next project.
Please keep the same format.
It is just as much fun watching the picture being drawn as seeing the completed project.
Makes you appreciate it all the more

I'm such a person that posts on eve-forum very rarely because of flamers mostly ;)
I'll record process of drawing next project as I do with most of my drawings (you can see them on youtube). I think it can be not only more fun in watching a picture being drew, it can learn someone as well. Such a little tutorial.

I'd just like to say that you've some amazing talent there. Wish I had a fraction of it heh, but seeing things like this always inspires me to go back to Photoshop and try to become a halfway decent artist with it from time to time. Though with a lack of any natural talent it becomes a trial haha.
Anyhow, amazing to watch and very impressive, can't wait to see the next piece you're working on.

Indeed, I watched it a while ago on You-tube and was very impressed when I saw it was freehand. I actually assumed it was someone in Eve's art department it is that professional.
Fantastic stuff! I hope you know better than listen to the comments of a few flamers jealous of your talent, and I also hope you get the recognition you deserve from CCP.
If you're as good at playing the game as you are at drawing it and need a corp then mail me!

It's just a case of practice (practice, practice, practice), and loving what you do. I think every graphic designer would tell you so :) Maybe if you'd practice more... who knows what level of using photoshop you'd gain? :) It's rank is about 10, so it takes some time without good implants ;> I'm currently skilling advanced photoshop painting, it takes soo long time.

Many people told it would be better to draw Nyx instead of Wyvern... Well, I believe caldari's mothership looks much better than gallante's, but it's just a case of taste I think :)
I was thinking of putting some Amarr ships (ah, great design) in the next project, haven't considered gallante's.

The Mouse is strong with this one... Do you strictly work in computer graphics, or have you done any actual canvas work?

My choice about the tool I'm going to use to draw (pen/computer) depends on my actuall humor

I think what some people fail to realize is that what we're seeing here isn't just Photoshop skill, but actual drawing skill.
It's a bit like saying: This food tastes great, you must have a really nice set of pots and pans.
I just love watching these kinds of videos, where at first you just see the rough draft and think to yourself: Heh, I could do that.
Then it just blossoms into this mindbogglingly beautiful picture and you go: How did he DO that?
