The time has come, the LoveProjects big event of the year is coming to a system near you - this saturday 22nd, right after downtime the tour around New Eden begins.
With the chance for lucky and speedy pilots to obtain gifts of the LoveQuest - its grand prize LoveShip #10 - The mighty Veldpocalypse Navy Issue, standing tall fully kitted with Tech2 Love and filled with a manufactuers Love.
So how will this go down?
There will be several ways to do this, in the event channel 'LoveQuest' a destination will be announced, the first one to get to the location in question will get the prize. There will be several prizes to pick up so maybe you don't want to rush straight for the first one... or do you?
Maybe it is a bogus call? Maybe it needs a code to claim the prize? The events will involve everything from basic fly from point A to B to picking up items and/or opening cans in space to move forward, onwards to maybe use you scanning abilities to take a shortcut.
There will be many prizes involved, so everyone will get their chance - but will you be the first one there...? 
So on December 22nd after downtime, join the in-game channel 'LoveQuest' and head for the Amarr system, and maybe you will be the one to claim the prizes.

Chribba - Spreading the Veld-Love to the masses since 2004 (Veld-Love is illegal in 3 Empires and 500 non-aligned systems.)
Sounds like a great chase, but I won't be able to attend this one.

There will be both floating ones and non-floating. The Veldpoc however will be floating so I'd say train upp Amarr Cruiser IV and Amarr Battlship II

What is the recommended type of ship for this LoveQuest? I'm afraid if I take an inty I won't be able to carry things, but if I take a T1 whatsit I'll be too slow, if I take a shuttle I'll get podded, etc etc...

Well that is the question  Do you want to focus on speed or maybe bring a hauler for the bigger things? Like I said there will be more than one path to take on the tasks given so there might be a good idea to have the ability to chose from at least the following categories of ships - speed / cargo / disposable
In other words: Get there first and claim smaller stuff / Maybe get there slower but hope that noone have had enough cargo to claim the prize / get there and throw your ship away without losing a fortune

How long is this event expected to go on? For example, if you had 15 quest calls and called one every 20 minutes, then it would last 5 hours... plus completion time.
So, how much time do you expect it to take to get all calls out? Not asking how many you have, just wondering if I'll have enough time to attend the whole thing!

I have no idea about the amount, tbh I figured kinda launching more than one quest at the same time would be a good idea - as well it would make people kinda have to think if they want to wait for another quest or maybe turn from their current in order to try and go for another.
Really I'm a noob when it comes to events so not really sure how this will go haha

The rules governing that are set by the empires, not Chribba.
If you keep your nose clean (i.e. don't pick up aggro) you should be safe enough from other contestants, as they are not going to want to give everyone else a 15 minute lead whilst they sit out their aggro.
However, if you expect that no low sec residents will set up shop to have some fun with the wacky racers as they come through, well....

No entry fee needed.
As for Amarr space, yes unfortunatly most things will be in or around Amarr territory, I don't really have the resources to do a New Eden wide event, sorry. But get an alt in a shuttle and you should be able to participate in some events the least.

Personally I was disappointed with my own results, even if Chribba is a wonderful fellow and a great asset and pulled off a fantastic event. I can nevertheless feel somewhat resentful that some people received multiple prizes and I managed to actually lose money. (not from the guy with the smartbomb fetish though).
Regardless, I hope you do it again next year (or sooner) Chribba, more cans with smaller prizes is my vote. So at least people get something.

My gains and losses during the event:
- Lost a Crusader to a Star Fraction Huginn in Irnin. SF were on the hunt during the event. Probably should have stayed near the gate instead of following Chribba. Exchanged some fire with SF at Emperor Family Academy after getting a new ship, and did not partcipate in the event during this time.
- Rejoined event when gathering at Mladi POS. Tried to grab a Damnation in Mladi, but was still missing a tiny bit of skill training, so could not board. Switched targets to a Curse and got it (Chribba's Loveship27).
- Lost my fully fitted Crusader to someone who boarded it after I boarded the Curse (can said pilot contact me, love to get at least the Pax Amarria returned).
- Picked up an unfitted Crusader left behind by another pilot at the POS.
- 4th pilot to warp in on the VeldPoc in Amarr
- Was also at war with Ryan Darkwolf during the event, he is the one-man corp pilot that podded the smartbomber. Decided it would be best to cease hostilities with him during the event.

Secondly I'd like to thank Chribba for doing a great job, the event was well paced.
Thirdly my condolences to the familys who lost loved ones to the smart bombing Gheddon. Many of which were in pods, shuttles or otherwise paper thin hulled ships. (ouch)

I had a cargo scanner so I could see what was in the cans before I got to them. I also discovered that some wouldn't open even after I ran through all the passwords a few times. Chribba was nice enough to come back and un-anchor the cans.
Nicely done and great fun!!

I got 11 T2 mining drone Blueprint thingys ,no clue what to do with them tho :(
I lost a shuttle (haha) because i ejected and was a micro second late to jump in a ship
almost had a can full of ship bpc's.. but again .5 second late :p
tried for a covetor and myrm in the pos but the lag made me not eject, true shame that :)
was a blast tho :) mucho fun

I got 10 run Rokh bpc, 5 run Apoc bpc, 10 run Covetor bpc, Catalyst bpo, 2 run Pilgrim bpc and 10 t2 mining drones:)
Wasnt able to get some of the ships simply because of my amarr specialization...
But it was fun, Hurray for Chribba!!

I enter this fantastic event with the idea in mind that if I got a single unit of a Veldspar rock it would be great. Instead I got:
2 hours of great fun
1 Armageddon BPC (1 run)
1 Pilgrin BPC (2 runs)
1 Anathema (ChribbaÆs LoveShip15 - not fitted, now I need to think on how to fit this anathema for mining )
So all in all what I have to say is:
This was a triumph
I'm making a note here
