Yeah they are pretty terrible names. It say segment the drone regions, make it easier and rename it World of Spacecraft because you could easily mistake those names for fantasy mmo zones. It would need to be a terrible mmo to actually name there zones that though.

But seriously, "Etherium Reach", "Cobalt Edge" and "The Spire" are all WoW related.

As stated, Rule's bid was on Edge. I understand Mostly Harmless suggested something like Cobalt Reach or Cobalt Expanse. Our best guess is that CCP tried to compromise between ours since we have fairly even shares of the region.

Unfortunately, Cobalt Edge just sounds silly. If it was a choice between this or MH's suggestion, whether it was Reach or Expanse, I'd take the latter, as it is much more fitting.

("Edge" started as "Edge of (something)" but I insisted we shorten it down to just Edge--it's fitting, given we're on the edge of known space, one of the furthest regions from empire.)
