the names were never going to please everyone, no matter what they were called, of course not everyone is going to like every name.

So they settled for World of Warcraft names, because everyone loves WoW?
and what would you have named them then?
dont get me wrong, some of them are pretty awefull, but i dont think we can really complain tbh, at least the playerbase got imput.

The Spire is an actual place in WoW.
Etherium Reach and Cobalt Edge I am unsure about, as I haven't played in 10 months+, but they could be. One of the main ores in WoW is Etherium, and alot of places have names after it. Cobalt is a race you often meet, so "Cobalt Edge" is also very likely to be an actual palce.
ok, now i see your point. I didnt really think CCP would let their regions be named after ACTUAL WoW areas etc.
lets hope the wow developers sue ccp or something then, because i doubt they will change it now.
you have got to wonder though, who the hell decided to name them after wow areas/resources....
