Well this weekend sure was a great time for the EVE universe. We beat our old record by 300 users, and looking at the new Fileplanet 10-day free trial offer, I see that almost 3,000 downloads have been made of that alone. I'm curious to know exactly how many registered accounts there are (I figure around 15k)?

I think its far more than that.. prob something like 40-50k.

before the buddy program, the game coming with pcgamer and basicly when number of players on the server was slowly going down the registered players were around 30.000, I would guess its around 40-50 now

 Whoa, 40,000 subscribers way back in July. That's *****ing. I guess next weekend we should all try to break that 8k record, and then that fabled 10k mark!
