Hi,
After a week of struggling with rendering and encoding ive finally got a viewable version of my first pvp movie. It can be found here - GENESIS
I thought ide save chribba some bandwidth and avoid too much in the way of credits etc in the video so ill use this space for that kind of stuff.
Its featuring Me and my corp, club bear, doing what we've been doing since we started about 2 months ago. Unforunately i wasnt able to start frapsing until around 3 weeks ago so im not drawing on all of our best stuff for this vid but i still think it was worth putting out.
Ships you will see me in: Tempest, Armageddon, Harbinger
Ships you wont see me in: megathron, ishtar, vagabond, interceptors
Mods you will see me use: T2 and named
Mods you wont see me use: faction, officer, rigs of any kind, implants of any kind.
Unfortunately this render is a 1600x1200 mkv which i know a lot of you wont like. its not too massive at roughly 400megs, but the size may be an issue for viewing to some of you with weaker systems. i recommend Mplayer for viewing. Im going to work on getting a smaller version out if theres demand for it.
Wanted to of course express thanks to dark shakira and chribba you guys are the bomb.
Please please leave crits of any kind and any praise here, ide like to get more involved in this community but i want to know that my content has a market.

PS- i apologize in advance for my awful taste in music. i will probably let someone more sensible chose my next soundtrack =)

yeah that was some kinda crazy rail deimos, he never came back within 50. i shoulda overloaded the web to hold him there at the start but oh well.

thanks a lot guys im glad you like it.
ide say genesis 2 is a guarentee. just depends on how long it takes me to get some good footage. i got lucky this time around and got a few nail biters in my first 2 weeks of frapsing.
ive added a smaller version of the movie. resolution is lower so more systems will handle it and file size is down to 150megs instead of 400. link is in the OP

i hadnt even seen the cown you are talking about before i made this. though i have seen it now and dont remember it being that similar? i promise to tone down the glow in the next one =)

as a matter of fact i have about 2 weeks until t2 heavies =). im excited.
to PMolkenthin- you know thats a rough call. we let one mercenary come along pretty soon the whole coalition is banging on the door! but maybe we can work something out

that is very similar! i think its a pretty overdone intro style in general. i feel like ide seen it before in other places also. oh well. nothing wrong with doing stuff like cown in my opinion. people like his stuff and they will continue to no matter what i do i think =p

obviously its pretty difficult to meet everyones needs with soundtracks. but i am working a lot harder to track down some stuff thats a little more original for the next one. i imagine someone still wont be happy with it though =p

its funny when some of my cohorts started talking about training heat i made fun of them and told them not to. but then i trained it in secret and discovered that its really quite awesome. i dont know why people are nervous to overuse it, especially in low/high sec where you can rep mods. its cheap and it helps out a lot. thanks for putting me in the same sentence with wave of mutilation thats pretty awesome.
