Here is the linkage of it beating the current silver magnate speed record of 115Km/s.
It does 155Km/s with 3 mwd.

I want to know how the Amarr Champion is going to feel if a Minmatar comes forward with the ISK. Say... someone from Oracle or the People's Front? Then they get someone to fly it and use it against PIE and thier allies and then the loyalist Amarrians are forced to destroy this 'piece of art' because a Minmatar 'terrorist' is flying it.
Oh, the beautiful irony such a thing would create. -

Until they fix the wrecking shots, I wouldn't touch it for a billion. Although if they DID fix the wrecking shots then it's worth a lot to a piratey type ;)

Edited by: csebal on 16/03/2004 12:26:17 Damn brave i have to add:
Think of how the emperor would feel, having his personal gift treated like an expensive but otherwise simple trade item.
In the emperors place, i would be disappointed or even insulted by such an act.
Considering all the above, bravery may not be the right word to describe this. Foolish maybe?
Just consider how easily CCP could smash this rather high ball.
Bottomline: good luck my brave and foolish 'friend'.
Addendum: 1bil is somewhat small-minded if i may add, im certain there are people who agree, that because of its emotional / symbolical value, the ship is priceless, but definitely worth more than a simple L2 BS bp original, which almost everyone has by now.

LMAO, there will be few individuals capable of making such an expensive purchase as this in game.
As one of those individuals I have to laugh at it quite frankly and I feel sorry for ecliptical as the ships that were given out were quite frankly crap prizes, 90% of them have just taken up space in hangars and are collecting dust.
Just boggles that someone would spend 1billion on this, a completely useless ship, I mean hell at 1billion isk, if i was in yulai behind you in a battleship, id just shoot you down and laugh as concord were busy killing me.
If anyone buys this they are an idiot (yes this means you to arachvoid).
As for the RP value, since I consider 90% of the amaar roleplayers in this game to be pathetic and eve in general is c4rp for roleplay, I bet ecliptical won't be loosing too much sleep over it. The only decent amaar roleplayer I have seen so far was deathwing when he tried shooting that guy in the event, that was RP, the rest of you idiots should just cram it tbh.
Anyway, if he can flog it for a billion, more power to him and the truth that the most valuable resource in eve is idiots.

Eat me bish, and it's ArachV0id not arachvoid. ¼_¼ I know you'd shoot me if you saw me in Yulai in it and laugh as you lost your ship, I'm the one that pointed out to you that people would do that. So give credit when stealing my ideas...
It's still worth 1 bill isk, and tbh it's like 1000x as easy to keep a frig alive than it is an imperial apoc... So somehow I doubt anyone is gonna succeed in taking me out in it.
So just lend me 300 mill isk and I won't have to kill you a lot.

Seems Majin Buu bought it..
what a laugh..
Like Stavros said above, only a handful of people could purchase such a thing.. I too being one of those people. If someone buys it then they deserve to be parted with the money, for being complete goobers..

It just goes to show there are several types of people who play EVE.
1) People who see value in force (how much power, how many guns, etc)
2) People who see value in function (what can I do with this)
3) People who see value in form (what does it look like)
4) People who see value in rarity (how many of them are there)
5) People who see value in image (how impressive is it to run a corporate event in a one-of-a-kind personal yacht)

If I had a lot of ISK I'd be interested in having that frigate just for the "I've got the only one in the universe" factor... Considering the insane speeds you can get a Magnate up to, I might even fly a tour of 0.0 space in it just for fun. Being able to say I circled the entire ring of smugglers' gates in the game's biggest flying bullseye would be a blast!
Of course that's assuming I already had spare battleships, all the BPs I need, and so on (like some people do)... I don't, so I'm not bidding. But nothing says "I'm so rich I have nothing left to spend it on" like owning a 1 billion ISK frigate.
