Lets assume i have BS lvl 5 in all races ( ). And i want to do missions solo, which would be the best ship to do it in and why? Also would it matter what race i was doing missions for with each ship?

If you must use a battleship I'd say either Golem or Caldari Navy Raven with cruse launchers.
Byt after topedo nerf the Nighthawk is as good and cheaper to fit if used with a passive tank. |

Not enough info for us to help you I'm afraid. It really depends a lot more on your other skills besides Battleship.

Against laser-users, shieldtanking is horrible compared to armortanking.
Against projectiles, it's the other way around.
So yes, it does matter what ship you use for eazy-mode. Personally, I have a Raven for Angel Extravaganza, a Dominix for most other missions and an Apocalypse for a few missions here and there. I run mainly Amarr missions, so I benefit against the EM/Thermal rats...

I have 4mil SP in missiles, and 1mil in gunnery (am a long way off tech II large guns tho). CAnt use tech II torps or cruise yet tho  oh and i was gonna do caldari navy missions.

CNR or Golem against Angels, Guristas, Serpentis, etc.
Paladin against Bloods, Sansha, Drones, etc.
