All cargo scanners, player based and npc based (customs) scan right through any and ALL packages as if they were not there, courier contracts, GSCs, everything. It wasn't always like this, but has been this way for YEARS now :o
Also, all players can open GSCs / wraps etc everything once they take it to their hangars and repackage them. Only ANCHORED GSC's can't be opened (but can be destoyed).
Also, now here's another interesting one. 'search' on contracts will bring up courier contracts with the item inside, so if you don't put up enough collateral people may just stumble upon your courier contract when searching for one of the items it contains ;)

I was fully aware of alts as a way to solve this from the start.
And I specifically asked if there are other options.

Stop forcing gameplay options you deem fit on everyone.

And FYI: there is a way to protect item(s) from being scanned down with a cargo scanner.
(I just tested it, and it sure as hell works.)

um then why did u ask for help if you know that u cant do this other than via an alt? you like wasting peoples time?

I knew not that there is no way to do it without an alt.
(However, I knew that there is a way to do with an alt.)
And so I asked if there was a way to do it without an alt. Clear enough ?
