Ok Guys, this is seriously a major major flaw in this game. It's entirely based on the market and selling and buying and also trading sometimes is very complicated orders not to mention the corp mining occasions when one has to devide and add to whatever member there is for each ore! This is so heavily concentrated aroundtrading and refining that I am just astound by the fact that there is no CALCULATOR INGAME!!!!
I am putting my highest effort in to this post and I go all out asking you guys to post a reply to this topic and show CCP that we are hundreds of players NEEDING the calculator! Pleas just post that you to want the Calculator INGAME and that is it. They have to see it if we are many enough to make this post stand put!
Please help us get thet Calculator in to the game! (Blue Ribbon for the Calculator!)

a thumbs up from me concerning having an ingame calculator. IGB scripted calculators are much too slow, and some of us like to play fullscreen!

I just keep my trusty TI-83plus next to my pc for playing eve... allows me to play full screen and its fast. Personnaly i would hate to have yet another menu on the screen to juggle.

I read your request. The calculator will come. It is on the list together with a notepad and a simple calendar app.

I would like to see a calculator tied into the market. One which automatically tells you the highest price of the minerals/ore demand and their location on the market within the current region, which can be easily input into the calculator at the click of a mouse (yea iĈm quite lazy :) ). Also functions such as limiting the prices shown to a certain amount of jumps, or security status systems would be useful.
just an idea, the market does most of this but not in such an easy format

I'm not so sure about having the calculator do lots of automated trade calculations - I think it would make spotting good trade opportunities too easy. Anyway, I've got a spreadsheet on my palmtop to do that for me 
What I am interested in though is a simple feature to check the distance between two places, since long trade routes often aren't profitable enough compared to shorter ones. A drag-and-drop system for quickly copying place names, item costs, etc. would be very helpful 
Calculator functions I'm interested in would include multiple memory stores, and either a long calculation history or multiple display tabs so you can easily check back on previous calculations. Being able to annotate them would be helpful too, so you can actually remember what value was for what product

I dont want a calculator when i can do that on my own with excell. also this is a waste of time for the devs. and this is what seperates the real players from those who are lazy. this is a direct interfearance with social darwinism. and the devs should be agaisnt this.

I hardly concider it much effort for the developer. At least not to the extend you make it seem to be. Some people do not wish to switch to an excel sheet. Assuming they have excel installed at all!
Perhaps it would be nice to make this a shortcut key too though, if possible i'd like to have such a calculator under the calculator key of my keyboard. Not to mention the eve mail under the mail button. Media buttons for the eve media player.
