Tri are the current high-SP vet flavour of the month destination for those who want to lord it over the newbs with their polycarbed HACs and awesome K/D ratios.

They think under-rated roleplaying fgts CVA are push overs. They proceed to get pretty owned by CVA in small gang fights.

At some point CCP fixes POSs after Trinity and POS warfare is allowed again. Tri get more organised.

CVA draw in all their friends, roleplayers and tennants to help with POS wars. Tri have improved their much-maligned K/D but still suck.

 That's about it i dunno

Most recently we have seen Tri running POS operations in R3 area, and pretty much locking down Misaba. But from what ive seen its just the same old nano **** that most of theese types of outfits run. Just roaming around looking for easy kill.

I dont think it is alowed to post the link here, but if you visit a eve-forum named scrapheadchallange, you can read a detailed summary and a ongoing debate of the CVA vs Tri.

As a personal note, I must say Tri cannot winthis war, I mean, how can you beat pilots that has God as a wingman ? :) j/k

No tri guy have ever said or thought that Cva was some pushovers. it would be the most silly thing to say, ever.
Cva is some hard m*****-f***** to fight, and thats why we went there in the first place, to get some decent challange.

Also we only made 1 real attempt so far, as Trinty have ****** up and delayed any pos warfare for almost 14 days, and well, now its xmas and such, kinda hard to get ppl up for hourlongs cap ops;)
atleast its not the smartest move to jump around in caps with a entire alliance drunk on boost and manlube getting rdy to celebrite xmas:)

There is a difference between wanting to take a region and attacking for fun. To get proper fleet fights out of people these days you gotta reinforce their POS'. For example the hours before all the CVA pos came out of reinforced we had lots of fleet engagements and fun... followed by nothing but roaming gangs.

Some people just can't seem to grasp the concept of playing for fun in a video game.

Mainly aimed at those who say " CVA , LoL RP'ers " , do CVA play a different game to everyone else or something ?

As far as I know they get to train the same skills , use the same ships and mods and do exactly the same as everyone else in the game , they have their fair share of high-SP vets and good gang leaders , always puzzles me to see people disclaiming CVA as a force cos of their roleplaying roots , guess it works in their favour when people under-estimate them though

One last thing , why the topics always "Tri. vs CVA" , it's Tri. vs CVA+Friends , CVA are good but alone against Tri they'd lose <<< My opinion before someone whines , not fact .

lol. I think some of you guys underrate Tri. I've flown with them for a while and they are a good bunch that just want some decent pew pew.. And when they have their target set they dont back down at least not for long if they ever do. Although I do have to give credit to CVA for giving them a hell of a fight I'm sure Tri is enjoying it.. When I was in Tri we were looking for a target that would fight back a bit.

Seriously.... my first last and only post on the subject here.

CVA are great guys to fight, good fights and mostly smack-free (tho some tards from both sides just can't shut up, but we deal with those in our own special kinda way).
In the beginning of the conflict we had alot of losses. The entire alliance wanted to just PEW without thinking about tactics and losses and just play casual for a while, we threw ourselves into fights we couldn't win, knowingly at times (the odd "drunken OPs" haven't improved the stats against CVA either). There's however several other great alliances and corps involved in this conflict on the CVA side (and they deserve props too, like paxton, iac, sylph, sev3rance and some others) and for those who actully care about such things you can see that we still have an overall 60% efficency in this campaign (CVA and friends have proven what we've been trying to say for a long time, we ain't nbersteamrollers, fight us properly and everyone will have some fun). Pre-war mails amd intel were filled with "CVA are tough ones, do NOT underestimate them, etc, etc. And I don't think we have (our KBs would look way worse if we had).

Why don't we steamroll POS with 105+ capitals and take their stations? First of all cus it's a bit boring, we know that CVA and friends probably can't match our CAP nrs (why so many? Try keeping a TRI cap pilot from joining in when he gets the chance to take his baby out for a swing).
Secondly because it would probably mean we'd loose some precious caps when we don't have to. Cus we don't have to, they fight us anyway (wich is more than can be said of alot of other alliances), I guess that's why our leadership decided to send us all to providence in the first place.
Sieging POS and blowing stuff in cap battles are a laggy tedious job. And as far as I know we've only done so when the targets we'r fighting hides within their stations and POS shields. The caps are means to get the enemy to fight.

I honestly don't understand why there's people trying to troll and inflame this conflict, it's the most fun I've had i a long time, CVA and friends are proving to be everything we hoped for. If those alt trolls are from any of the involved organisations you should be ashamed of yourselves. If you'r not.... well then you don't know what you'r talking about, if you want to make a difference then pick a side "in-game", undock and FIGHT.

Since I'm not a leader of TRI you shouldn't take my words for **** (as usual). They'll probably make me clean the corp hangers for a couple months now for spilling my guts and looking stupid and all, byt it's vaccation time anyhow
(and I didn't want that kladdkaka anyway).

There... I'm done wordbarfing for this year, Merry Christmas (for those of you who celebrate it) and a happy new year.

For the record Trium haven't lost anything in Providence. Nobody has in fact.

They were looking for some action, and wardecced a number of allied alliances in the area. The response has been thick with fighting, POS's being hit to stage large battles around an attack/defend objective. They've brought some much needed fun to the Christmas period, the scale of battles inevitably tailing off as pilots on both sides find themselves busy with family etc.

If it wasn't for all the paperwork I'd highly recommend a fortnight of Trium-love for all reasonably small alliances. They've taught us a lot and have been good sports, we've already notched this up as a "memorable occasion" in the lifespan of Sylph and it's road to conquering all of 0.0 (you heard it here first).

Number of TRI poss's deployed in Providence = 0

Number of fights in Providence or near-by regions = Quite a lot

Number of fights in or near Deklein = Not many or 40 jumps away.

Thats all we need to know. Why be in Deklein when we can be in Providence?

So imho we haven't tried to capture station systems yet, just tried to provoke the locals into fleet engagements, some times works, some times don't.

Apart from that, not much else to say. flame away, as long as I can put X in alliance and get a gang I'm happy

There has been one attempt to actually take space, interuptions of Trinity and the christmas season have stopped any other attempts. So for now our roaming gangs go through the space, sometimes winning sometimes losing.

Pathetic cowardly alts have tried and failed at causing flame bait between the alliances in question. The attack will come at CVA again, and i believe the only reason we didnt get a foothold in X-R was because of the AAA/IAC/Goon involvement, which like i keep stating is fair enough, but will this help be around forever?
