From what I have seen, it seems that the war between GBC, RSF, and The North is drawing to an end; probably with the defeat of GBC and a disbandment of bob in the next month or so.
Because BoB seems to be a very, very unifying force for goonswarm: is the end of BoB also the end of the swarm?
Personally, I think that when this war is over, Goon Swarm will have an internal conflict between more and less experienced players. I think that, when everything is said and done, that there will be more than one faction that will result, and at least one of these factions will be what goonswarm once was, back in syndicate (aka noobswarm).

The mittani did say that BOB was a terrific unifying force for the Goons once.
Who can say? The Goonswarm might break up, but I think it will be less internal conflicts and more wanting to pew pew with more people. I dont think its in any cay inevitable however. In any case thats a matter for them. But they have been good friends to a lot of people, including IAC.

we'll probably kill all of our pubbie allies after bob, and then we'll all probably sell everything and go back to syndicate in frigates leaving a massive power vaccum.

This old woman in Old Man Star told me that the OP is correct. Once the Great War to Kill BoB is over, the Goons will self-destruct their ships, one by one, and never be seen again.
This proves to me that the Goons are actually The Forty-Seven Ronin, for the space age.

When Goons have won eve and our internet spaceship world is firmly under the control of Emperor Mittens, then the Goon Devs shall look upon their works and proclaim (in the fashion of Roy Walker) "its good... but its not right!"
A mild server reset and character delete is then followed by the release of Eve2. --

Bob and the GBC are no way near dead yet? or was TPAR not prove enough that we can still muster an extreme large (i think someone pointed out it might be the biggest yet) fleet. TBH the GBC has tones of fight left in it yet, so dont start counting our chickens just yet. But if the GBC does fall.. then no Goons prob wont died off (sadly ) because they are a community within a communty.

We are not questioning the size of your whole fleet. And yes, bwteen alarm clocks and a massive massive move to put ships in the field to show force, it was hardware in space worth about as much at half the Omega Enterpices BPO collection, and I respect that.
What I do question however Quebber, are the will behind the hardware. Yes, a mighty blob was made in some BOB system. Did the blob of bob go anyware, or, did you have a wonderfull Blueball in there?
I actually fear the wallet of OE more than I fear Axiom alliance.
Back or front? Both ways are fine by me.

well from wat i know is moral is high in all GBC camps! we know we have the number, ships, equipment, and now finally we have all the targets we want. We can quite easily pick and choose the target to hit, and its very easy to move our big fleets, as the attackers will be close by.
I think a more appropriate question is what happens if bob falls, but what will happen to the 2 coalitions if bob doesnt fall? can they really hold it together and try and keep up the pressure?

The North vs South war will occur in that craphole of a system that is 280AU wide. FC will be heard shouting "they've aligned and warped guys get ready!" only to have the actual enemy enter grid 5 minutes later.
