Behold Trinity, bringing you the blob invasion.
The blobs first attacked the paintjob: behold, The Great White Ships:
A much more frightening was the blob attack on the celestial bodies: the Square Planet:
The Step Planet:
I docked to equip my ship for anti-blob fight; but it appears the blob have a foothold inside our stations and are infecting the ships!
No suprise outside station:
XMAS is here, snow on everything!
I decided to check a reported blob sighting. I warped in into a strange environment...
Station infencted by blobs.
Behold the asteroid b(l)ob!
More asteroid blobs.
The corrupted gate... who dares to enter? :)
We have seen npc ships taken over by drones... here is one taken over by a blob!
Fully blob opponent (frig).
New weapon of the npcs: the darkness! ]
On the bright side, blobs can be destroyed - they leave blobbed wrecks :)
Fight fire with fire, and blobs with blobs. This is my ship, the ultimate blob (after shield hardener was turned).
My ship. The lines are shots from/at and the tractor beam.
To paraphrase a certain general: "one more expansion like this and we are ruined" :) -- One day, we will return to the planets... please, CCP? :)

I'd update your graphic drives before you start pointing the finger at an engine that works for more people than it doesn't.
If everything is all ticketyboo on your end continue pointing

Edited by: Cailais on 22/12/2007 18:26:24 You need to update your graphic cards driver. I had exactly the same white ships, updated my drivers - alls fine.
Its not CCP that has the problem - its your PC.

Edited by: Prokonsul Piotrus on 22/12/2007 19:02:19 I have already tried to update drives, and it did not work (I have the newest drivers and posted in the relevant troubleshooting thread; this post is meant for screenshot amusement, not eve-ranting or flaming). Thanks for the tip for those who offered it nonetheless (others are welcome), plonk for flamers :) -- One day, we will return to the planets... please, CCP? :)

I actually had a similar problem briefly with the classic version on a new computer. Then I remembered to update my graphics driver and all the problems were fixed, and the Eve client even asked me if I wanted to update to Trinity premium. I declined, seeing as how I just fixed classic graphics. ---

Humor is not appreciated here, people would rather be ****s first and interact socially later. proof from a funny haha post i just made and was flamed no joke within 20 seconds of posting. -Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

I had ships like that when I first log in. The 3D engine has a delay between texturing items on video cards with less than 1GB of VRAM I guess?

[serious]i see the most glitches are texture based, my bet is that your graphics memory is either fried or overclocked and overheating.[/serious]

I agree. Op, try setting your system to stock settings and work from there. Are you overclocking? How old is your video card? And, what drivers are you using?

I did not post my comp info here as I did not want to turn it into a troubleshooting thread in a general forum (believe it or not, my post was intended to amuse ppl with screenshots, not to complain about Trinity :>). And no, they are not shopped, they are genuine screen :)
But since you asked:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 6100 - driver updated to the most recenn one 169.21 ("Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU") It is not overclocked.
System: WinXP SP2
Few questions: * how to turn off "HDR"? * Pitt Bull mentioned this problem persisted for a time and then disappeared on its own. How long did it last? I see little change in the 24h period.
Kudos to people with useful comemtns or a sense of humor :) Plonk to flamers, long live EVE and Merry XMAS everyone :) -- One day, we will return to the planets... please, CCP? :)

EvE Launcher
The Game... [This is permanent]
This happens on the second EvE client, only if I have already one EvE client launched since a while and really used. If I close the 1st, I can launch two clients without problem.
There is a worse situation where I can't retake computer control easily...
Drivers updated to 163.75 WHQL.
No overheat, cache often cleaned (at each start of Windows).
Never happened with Revelations I/II, only since Trinity.
I already sent a bug report with all retrieved informations and a video, hope this will change something.
