I find doing missions, mining, killing npcs, buy low sell high, all boring. I recently came back to this game a week ago after 9 months and all I wanna do is pvp. I need money to make money some how, any ideas? :)
Thanks.

If you aint going to do any of the boring stuff, join a corp, lighten the corp hangar, etc , etc.
Or u could go camp a gate in 0.0.

Most pirates have 2nd accts that they use to mine rare ores to supply them with the most expensive ships and weapons due to their usually low sec status they also kill ppl and sometiems they get nice things and sell it and others are ex miners / traders who have played for a long time and aare rich bef4 they are a pirate

Is pirating a fulltime job?

My alt (beeblebrox) is a pirate. She makes about 20mil a week in pirating. Tolling, selling goods, and we even got a hauler with 40k zyd when we one day was trying out frig pirating.

The bigger corps have mining factions and/or "sponsoring". IE they group with people/corps who are well into mining and "cooperate". ------------------------------------------------- Lying Scumbag |

I don't make money either. In my wallet right now is enough to replace my scorp I lost to Merc frigs and that's it. I scrimp and live off modules I pick up from killing pirates.
Otherwise I barely fly around with a full module set-up.
So no, not much money here

In recent wars MF has been involved in, it's amazing how undiscaplined a lot of players are when it comes to loading equipment/munitions. Last night I picked up about 300 cruise missiles from just a couple of player kills, personally I never carry more than about 10 at a time for a frig fight, if I need more then I go reload. When you consider these sell for about 3-6K each it's a good evenings work in missiles alone, not to mention the other weapon/mod drops. They all go back in the corp pot anyway and contribute to the war economy, but the potential ISK making for reasonably little effort is obvious.

I am a PK. I do make money PKing. I just fly near some1, warp scramble him. then I start a conv and say if he`ll move, defend himself or post anything in local I`ll kill him. then I ask him money depending on his ship. if he givs me the money I don`t kill him. if he doesn`t I kill him, pod him, collect his loot, sell his loot & add his corpse to my bio. u can ransom something like 20mill or sometimes even more when yer victim is a level2 bs. if any1 is seeking for a PK corp which do know how to mess with people then join SENSHI 2004. to join talk to me or kyuuki.

Yeah. Eventually as a pvp person, your gonna kill someone that will drop something that will get you isk. That, or refine all the junk that drops and refine it It's OK! I had subway! |

I find pirating quite lucrative actually.
Here is what you should do: find a region with ample fixed npc spawns and travell betwen the spawns and just ransom the BS you find at those.
Or get lucky and find a ****load off high end minerals inn an indy flying about -------------------------------------------------> What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death.

just find some system 0.3 whit refinery and losts of roidbelts
Make a good warp in book markon evey roidbelt
and then wait for miners
(baisikly just make lots of bookmarkked gank systems and look whit map when some one is mining in there - set ur course there and gank em) -------------------------------------------

i used to hold people up. Great fun, and the cash was pretty good too. 1.5-3mil per cruiser, and the occasional jackpot from bships ranging from 20mil to 50mil. Also the loot from the less cooperative customers. Then came all the nerfs and stuff, and it became horribly hard to hold people up, impossible if you go in alone like i used to do. I still try to hold people up, but it usually ends up all messy with a corpse and a cargo can.
But i'm proud to say all my money came from holding up and other pirating activities, including but not limited to; getting upfront payments from potential TTI recruits who for some odd reason thought i was the TTI recruitment guy.
Its not a scam, its psychosocial manipulation and questionable conversational skills.
But in general, piracy aint as profitable as anything else, and its very risky, especially since castor. -

Not for me, no. A few of them mine for themselves, though.
And yes, Drex, I totally forgot about that. Probably because I totally forgot to do anything with it, and it's sitting in a hangar in lonetrek I feel bad now.
Yes, every now and then I'll actually turn a profit, but I don't pirate to make money, so it's like a side-bonus. I do it for the socialising... .
