This probably has been discussed before but i couldn't find it. I think some of the ship designs need to be worked on, it might be me but most of them look like a 6 year with an erector set put these ships together. Now I know that in space streamlined ships really doesnÆt matter but man would they look better and would appeal to more people. IÆm not asking for big changes just make some of the ships more symmetric, (I hope thatÆs a real word and will work for this) take the Gallente Velator and Catalyst, man r those some ugly ships who designs ships like that? All IÆm asking is that they make them more symmetric instead of looking like someone just threw some pieces of metal together and end up looking weird. I know this games been around a long time and they might not want to do that but I think it would help keep people playing the game I really donÆt want to spend hours all day looking at an ugly ship give me/them something appealing.

Im guessing you have only seen mostly caldari and mimmatar ships, the gallente and Amarr are quite attractive for the most part in my opinion.

Nope gallente r the ships i have the most problem with haven't seen many caldari or mimmatar ships and it is mostly the smaller ships that r ugly the big ones look mostly pretty good but it's going to take forever to get one of those.

When you see more caldari or mimmatar ships then your views of ship astectics will suddenly change I assure you. The caldari have polls pointing out in random locations and the mimmatar, well, there is a reason people on the forums say duct tape and chewing gum.

I wouldn't call eve models ugly but I do wish for a HAC that actually looked like a heavily armored/armed military vessel.

and they already rebuilt all of the ships.

I think a large portion of the problem can be attributed to the fact that we have star wars, star trek etc that have ship designs and if CCP make a ship that resembles someone elses design it could mean legal action.
The ship designs themselves are ugly as sin, but the graphics are quite pretty.

The Minmatar Hurricane looks almost identical to one of the Star Wars Imperial Battleships used by the empire in Episodes 4, 5 and 6.
And the Minmatar Slasher looks like the X-wing from hell.

Trinity makes pretty much all of the ships look pretty good imho, except gallente but thats more of a personal opinion because of my Caldari Loyalist Attitudes.

Hey ever since they removed the baby blue, all the Gallente ships look mighty fine. Heck I love the Gallente Battlecruisers so much.

My oppinion
Amarr - Idea of harmony. Best looking ships for sure
Minmatar - Idea of improvisaion. I love the asymetrical look of it, but most don't.
Gallente - Idea of organic. I like it also. Some ungly. Some great.
Caldari - Idea of mechanical. Always hate those but now really improved with trinity reflections.

The Velator, i aggree, but the Catalyst looks awesome, i spent my first 2 months in that thing...
