Around Arzi there's dozens and dozens. Last night my corp watched characters with really obscure naming conventions go to and fro from systems in T1 haulers. I never knew macro haulers existed until then.

Edited by: The Djego on 30/12/2007 09:53:56 Edited by: The Djego on 30/12/2007 09:52:23 Well they are ingame for some Months now. This is mostly Level 3 or 4 Transport Mission running.
No matter how many you will kill they donŠt stop. Simple by the fact that they donŠt loose money by this(T1 Fitted T1 Haulers). If you kill a T1 hauler with T1 Cargoextenders will not even worth the money of the Amno. If you are lucky they have Mission goods inside, but this Items are also worth nothing on the player Market. Mostly even if you kill 3 out of 4 of this Haulers they will still make good ISK with that. I mentioned that that if you kill the Hauler the Char will stay on his route with a Pod or a Shuttle for some time before he gets a new Hauler.
In my Opinion it is Macroed on many Accounts and one player checks from time to time if the ship is still there and buyes a new one if not. In my Opinion this get common to avoid banning, it is less obviously than standing in a Belt 23/7...
And yeah Chainsaw is right they use this Chars for Combat some times if they get realy **** at you. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank! |

An easy way to make it less profitable would be to increase the collateral of the transported goods. Anyone running a L3 or L4 mission should be able to put up a collateral of several million ISK.

They've been at it for at least a year. Jovainnon has been infested for ages. It's just that more lowsec regions are being overrun.
If you want to do something about it , join my corp or offer us some logistic support to help us rid lowsec of this vermin. ISK donations can do as well
It is possible to make them stop (or at least move to another region) by killing enough of their haulers. After they fail enough missions , their standings drop and they can no longer accept missions from the L4Q20 industrial agents. Sometimes they create corp to pool their standings , then it's possible to wardec them and use lighter ships to catch them at every turn.
I'm satisfied of our work in Orfrold. Metafarmers' presence made an entire group of macro haulers flee to their former home of Jovainnon. With your help , we can finish them off there.

It's not new they've been there probably since I started playing EvE. It's somewhat ridiculous. There's so many of them that I doubt it helps shooting them. I've seen some people shooting them all time but it doesn't really seem to have any kind of effect.

Pre-Kali courier missions had real collateral - and the pirates could then sell off the stuff because it was real cargo (2000 homeless instead of "group of homeless")...

Edited by: DRACO selen on 30/12/2007 16:10:24 Same in Ingunn (0.1 system with 130 ppl in local and 4 level 4 Transport Agents). After one hour and ~30 haulers later I had to stop shooting them, cause my sec status went down from 5.0 to -1.8
