This isnt a thread hoping all an unhappy new year, that would just be mean.
This is a thread for those not getting drunk, not spending time with friends or families, and those who havent had an amazing christmas.
 cheer up.
Im having a bad one, a really bad one... but things can only get better right?

There could be a massive terrorism attack tonight whiping cities off of the map, millions dieing and a nuclear winter.
It could get worse.
You said it couldnt.

A friend came round yesterday and we stayed up all night. After my friend left, I attempted to have a 3 hour powernap but instead didn't wake up until 7pm so I ain't gonna be be doing anything for new years now. I don't feel sad that I'm not doing anything, I'm just confused

I had the pleasure of falling on my face after my quickrelease bike front wheel decided to quickrelease whilst I was going 20mph on the road and only just managed to get up and out of the way of a speeding truck. I look like i've been beaten, but at least I'm alive - though I have to spend new years at home, getting drunk by myself

I had a similiar experience when I was like 12. down at the bmx track I was having fun and went off one of the jumps to catch major air. Right in the middle of that air ctaching the entire front end of my bike (handle bars and tire) just broke off. So here I am sitting on one half of a bike and holding the other half in my hands and time slowed down so I could think of how badly it was gonna hurt when I landed.

I would have plenty of reasons to consider it an unhappy new year, but the good news is that it¦s the end of 2007 and I got a feeling that 2008 will be a lot better :D Hope it will be for everyone who is down today. *hugs* (no, I am not drunk...just emotional :P )
