I believe he means multiple accounts running together, I cram two on to the one monitor and use my second monitor for other tasks but since the graphical update when ever you open two copies of the client (even if you make two separate folders for the files and shortcut them separately) my machine grinds to a halt. My PC is far in excess of EVE premium specifications so it isn't simply I lack resources.
It would be a good idea to fix it because CCP is losing money (mine at least) I will not pay for two accounts if issues with the client prevent me from using them.
I have been looking for answers since patch day and there as yet arenĘt any... I'm fairly sure the problem can't solve itself so how about a solution?
If such a solution does already exist then my apologies as I have been unable to find it and have had to assume that for now at least we are stuck with this.
Any suggestions are welcome as I would really like my hauler back...

CCP's recommended system requirements are assuming ONE client running, and that being basically the only thing running on the system... Running two clients would, quite obviously, require twice the equipment, if you expect a comparable playing experience.
As for the OP, Eve does support dual monitor for multiple clients, simply drag the second window onto the second monitor. Keep in mind, that while eve supports it, your video drivers may not like playing 3D content on both screens, and will take a serious performance hit. Two ways to avoid this hit are to either run in Horizontal Span mode, or use Vista.

Can find out how to get more than one client running at the same time. My PC is good with the specs with a fat AMD dual core 4600 and a ATI x1600 GPU, 2 GB RAM, lots of HDD space and a M$ XP OS.
So do we unlucky people have to tweak something ? Does only BoB have that secret switch --- Got a weird humor and love 0.0? JOIN

Hi, I wish it was built into the client but in the mean time EVE Launcher is great and quite happily allows me to run 4 clients! on my two screens. It allows full screen windowed usage & to Alt-Tab between EVE, my browser & spreadsheets.

There is no need to duplicate the install folder. Eve works fine running multiple instances from the same install.
With XP, if you have any part of the 3D window poking into your second screen, it will cause a great slowdown of the graphics, because it loses a LOT of the 3D accelleration features. The only way around this is to either run Vista (which handles multiple monitors ont he same card differently) or if you are staying with XP, run in Horizontal Span mode. Span mode will make the two monitor outs use the same widened frame buffer, so they work as one screen. Window management is more complicated though, since you then can only maximize to the whole desktop, not just one screen.
If you are geting serious whole system slowdowns when running multiple clients, you may be having a memory shortage issue. Eve is a memory hog, but thankfully, trinity came with a decent solution. The cahce size setting in the graphics settings controls a good portion of eve's memory use. Bump it down to low, and you will free up quite a bit of RAM.

On some cards I'm certain that 3D accelleration causes big problems, in fact I can state that is a certainty as I see it myself.
I used to run two EVE clients from the same folder on two monitors (not in horizontal span mode) back when I had a 7900 GT card. My computer ran amazingly smooth with each client on a different monitor, IE running with 4 or 5 tabs open, MS Excel cranked up and at least one or two other programs going not counting anything that might running in the background.
Then one day I started noticing flickering in game so from past experience I figured the card was about to go. At that point I went out and bought an 8800 GTS and from that day on (this past summer) I've never been able to run the game with dual monitors. After starting up the first client with the 8800 installed the game splash screen turns into a slide show and it takes several minutes for me to be able to even alt-tab out to shut down EVE from the Task Manager. Windowed mode isn't much better.
So, at least from my experience my problem with not being to run two monitors is my graphics card, not my computer.
I detest Vista btw so I'm using XP.
